Default How did you beat the book?

I see a lot of posts about withdrawals of $1000+, looks like maybe one or two of you are winning? When someone posts about having trouble withdrawing 50 grand of profits, I wish i had that problem

I tailed Pags last week, plus I put a big bet on Big Erv vs Kenny Rogers earlier in the year at -145. The game was 5-0 before the 4th inning was over.

I guess I'd rather deal with withdrawing troubles than not being able to withdraw at all.

stay the hell away from road favorites. in fact, consider staying away from almost all favorites.

just pound good doggies like VATECH+250 vs nebraska. that type of game where one team has a much nicer track record for the decade then the other squad

I like to diversify. I definitely will try to avoid road favs, but sometimes i like to tease them, what do you think about that?

I wonder whether teasing home dogs or teasing road favs would yield you better. I believe the linesmakers are pretty accurate for like NFL, and a big blowout by the road team is more likely than a close game by the home dog... could be completely wrong though

Baseball season is over so im guessing my payouts just ended... Made about 19k 2nd half of the season... Hoping i can stay off the losing streak long enough to come back in baseball with 10k to play with.

i want to hear more on this because I hear a good amount of people are withdrawing BANK (congrats youre much smarter than the average bettor like me)! For one, I am going to consider Rich Biatch's impressive strategies for baseball next season.

1. No chasing. No chasing. No. chasing.

2. Learn basic gambling-related mathematics.

3. Strict unit sizes, 1x-10x. 7-10x plays should be very, very rare. (eg. if your bet sizes range from $50-500 on an average weekend, you'll be broke quick)

4. Know line value. Understand the importance of 3 and 7 in NFL. Know that if you're not teasing through both the 3 and the 7 in teasers, you shouldn't be playing teasers. Don't play college football teasers, you have no edge with them there. No parlays. No. parlays.

5. Line shop. If you don't have a matchbook account, you're an amateur. Period.

6. Pick 54% winners. Count your blessings at 60%. Don't get reckless at 40%, keep grinding. Don't get cocky at 65%.

7. Take advantage of bonuses at the best books. Know how to scalp your way through rollovers over long periods of time.

8. Be quick on the keyboard, and quick on the phone, and master the ability to check a line at multiple books in 10 seconds. Use a line monitoring service (i use sportsinsights).

shall i continue?

First thing I look at is yardage allowed and yardage gave up (both passing and rushing). Next I look at what happened in their last game. If they lost a tough game, then its a plus. If a team wins a big game then its a minus. Buy the points if you have to. Don't mess with totals, well I dont anyway

I withdraw all the time, but that's the advantage of ewallet funding - you have your money next day, so no point keeping it in a book.

Been an OK mlb season, up about $4.5k. Admittedly that's a pretty poor edge given the number of bets made, but it was the first mlb season for me. Now back to my bread and butter, small soccer leagues :-)

My strategy is simple. Hit around 70% in three major sports guarantees multiple monthly withdrawals.

Stick with quality books, otherwise withdrawing might be a problem.

I've still got money stuck at BOS. lmao

Getting a large payout isn't a problem for me.

I play at a book that pays me within 10 minutes to 3 days maximum.

Do your research before you go putting money in at a book.

There really are some hidden gems out there

How can yardage mean anything though when games are blowouts? The other teams mainly play prevent D and let up so the stats are misleading.

I agree that can be misleading. avg margin of defeat even may even be a little misleading.

just saw this rule

Squatting

Our Policy for settling is clear. If you are not down $400 then you do not have to settle, as long as your account maintains an active status. An account is considered active by wagering at least $100 in a 30-day period in the sportsbook. Any account that is not active will have to settle at the end of the next settlement period.
