I would think if you tape your calls and send a copy to Feds they are done, anyone using threats is not too bright and will end up in jail or paying heavy court costs and fines..

They shouldn't be threatening (bodily harm) you. If they take a line of credit there are going to be bad debt in their account, it's just part of any business. I do agree that you should pay your losses though.
