different books have different lines. some books have better bonus offers, while other books have lower vig.

some books cater to recreational players only, while others cater to both sharp & recreational players.

sometimes players look at the transactions fees as well. that all depends on the type of player you are.

sometimes scalpers and bonus whores like to take advantage of a certain promotion books offer.

i personaly am always looking for the best line out there possable on the side i like.

seems from what ive read so far searching out great lines and great bonuses= grief , aggrevation , slow payouts and conversations with guys called johnny w..... personnally id rather a dime line to a niclkle line full well knowing my money is safe id also rather 10% bonus or no bonus to 50% bonus if money is safe. i guess what im saying 1 or 2 safe sbs would seem to be smarter then having 10 sbs where if only one ****s you all the search for bonuses and lines becomes for not.

Yep, it's all about making money. I use a lot of books and if you were to point at any one and ask, "Why them?" the answer would always be because there is money in it for me.

Bonuses are probably the main reason. You use a lot of books and you can get a lot of bonuses. Bonus are profit and people want profit.

But even if all you do is straight gambling, you've got to shop for the best line (if you're serious about it.) A capper who doesn't learn and use the sportsbooks is throwing money away. It's like a running back who doesn't think he needs to work on his blocking and pass catching.

And when you get down to it, B and C books are not that big a risk. If there is a C book with a nice bonus, it is worth the risk. You ask questions and you always keep an eye on the forum to see if there is any trouble brewing but I have been well rewarded over the years for dabbling in C books.

You need at least 5 active accounts at all times. This is basically baseball season. You need Pinnacle for sure, toss in Mansion, Matchbook,5Dimes, and one other, and you have a start.

Change books for football, you'd want SIA in there, maybe add Skybook delete 5Dimes, etc.

Semi-serious players use at least 5 books at a time.

5-9 accounts is what you need to be good at this....anyone who just has one account is wasting their time and will almost guaranteed lose long term.
