    Default Mansion.com Sportsbook Closed

As of today, September 25th 2008, Mansion.com no longer operates as an online sportsbook.

They sent this news to their bettors. Content of this mailing is also available online at

Interesting is that Mansion.com owners also owns Mansion88.com which is regulated by laws of Philippines for which is known that are much less strict as laws in Gibraltar where Mansion.com is operated from.

I’ve contacted Mansion88.com to get info how is Mansion.com sportsbook closing gonna effect Mansion88.com bettors but their reply was that they can’t comment anything regarding Mansion.com.

This has left me with a weird feeling in my head about betting at Mansion88.com in the future.

I don't think it will have any effect. It looks like they're going to keep Mansion88 open, and, in fact, are suggesting that current Mansion.com players sign up at Mansion88 if they want to keep betting on sports.

Werent they the ones that offered free $1000 bet on the Steelers couple years ago? I didn't take advantage cause I actually thought the Culpepper led Dolphins could beat the Ben Rothless Steelers.
