Default Matchbook NSF check payout

My last matchbook check payout was returned to me NSF, has anyone else had NSF checks from matchy lately? I have emailed them the check and will report back on how quickly they resolve this issue.

On a side note, after dumping 500 dollars yesterday on NFL it is sad that I also have to deal with the hassle of NSF checks on payouts, starting to wonder if sports gambling is even worth the hassle in the new era of numerous headaches/hassles/fees just to get your money in and out of the books, much less the headaches of stressing out when actually betting on the games. The new era favors the 50/game bettor, virtually no stress and never tyin up a good percentage of your cash at books that charge ya payout fees and then wait 2 weeks for your NSF check, then wait another 2-4 weeks for that to be resolved, it's just gettin very old. The old days of neteller, w/d for free then pull your cash out of the ATM that night are long gone and it's a fukin shame.

Wow that really sucks. Americans are having so many problems at so many places, I have stopped even trying to follow it. I can't keep up. I can understand how Americans would think about just giving up on the whole offshore thing.

But I didn't realize things were this bad. An NSF from Matchbook? Like I almost want to say, "Are you sure?" It doesn't sound right. When you say Matchy you are referring to Matchbook, right?

That's pretty huge news in my mind. It's messed up.

Yes, I am referring to Matchbook and I am sure. In fact Matchbook sent me an email about a week ago asking if I had probs presenting this check and I emailed them back saying no I deposited it same day I received it into my checking account and have not had any probs so far. Then today I receive the returned check with NSF stamped on the front of it in the mail with a notice that they are debiting my account for the check amount and an NSF charge.

I had the same issue with TheGreek earlier this year. No book is immune. What they told me to do was to just re-deposit the check that they had a new processor and the funds hit their new account just after I deposited my check. When I re-deposited the check, it cleared and everything was fine. My bank didn't charge any fee.

The bottom line is that you will get paid. The timeframe is uncertain but you will get paid 100%.

Got the same email today, but so far my none of the checks have bounced.

Honestly, the mods should remove posts like Richkas'. What kind of precedent does this set? Should I start shilling for a book and spam the forum as well? When would it stop? How about 14 of us start shilling different books? Not to mention, unless SBR is on CW's payroll, isn't shilling for unadvertised books cutting into your bottom line? Please put an end to this.

I had a Matchbook check bounce today. It was an August 27 "courier" check drawn on a U.S. bank in Minnesota which arrived late to begim with , 23 days later via regular mail.

Hopefully, it is only a batch of checks from the shit processor which matchbook claims to have dumped recently.

I'm sure that's the case. They seem to be on top of it.

I consider it a good sign that I heard from Matchbook about it before I even knew there might be a problem.

matchbook is great. It took over a month for my check so I basically wrote them a email saying that I know their a great book and I'm not worried about getting my check. I asked them to cancle the check and send one fedex free of charge. They did so on saturday and received it today.

That sucks really hard. As someone said, no book is immune. Matchbook did have a problem with their Moneybookers over the summer at one point. It was only a few days getting straightened out but I was still surprised.

You know they have the money but this kind of stuff just sucks. Hard.

I have exchanged emails with matchy and they have apologized for the NSF check (claiming the problem was caused by a processor they no longer use) and credited my account with the NSF charge and are re-issuing me a check and sending it out via Fedex for free. They have addressed this problem very quickly and professionally and I will post in this thread when I receive the check.

I have had an identical exchange of e-mails. Let's hope the next one doesn't bounce. I agree that Matchbook is fantastic.
It's a crime that they are not rated A+ at SportsBookReview. Themselves and Pinnacle are the best.
