Question Anyone familar with the city of NASHVILLE?

If so, can you give some of the pros and cons of the city, be it directly in or within 40 miles of it.

Thanks,
FH

Have only visited the place on a couple of occasions fish, but enjoyed myself. Pretty clean town, have friends who have lived there for years and they love it. Not too big, not too small, with a nice university and pretty area around the town.

Yo Richkas, if C&W music really bothers you, then you probably won't like Texas either

Nice climate

Good central location

No state income tax

Only 210 miles to Tunica

Lower cost of living and good reasonable housing options

FLORIDA has run its course with me.......crowded, humid, hurricanes, expensive, lots of nit-wits.

What are you talking about, fh?

Tampa to Tennessee?

YOU WON'T BE NEAR THE OCEAN!!!! (The Gulf is an ocean)

If you can't smell the salt water your life is diminished.

(Well, Ok, Chi is a good town and no salt ocean. But Lk Michigan is like a fresh water ocean. And I wouldn't live in Salt Lake, even tho that huge lake is super-salty, drive thru the Salt Flats you can taste it. Mormons are nice people but don't like being handed the Book of Mormon every time I have lunch at a restaurant. I got a big collection of 'em, think I'll try to sell 'em on ebay. Then maybe go back and try to steal that gold statue of Angel Moroni from atop the famous Temple)

great place. lived about 55 miles east of there when i went to college. Born and raised in tennessee. Pros, No state income tax, nice women, really cheap for housing if you are in florida like me. Really friendly people. Cons, high sales tax,no gambling just got lottery a few years ago and it took a huge fight with the baptist church to get it,lots of dry counties around nashville. Bordom can overtake you here some but lots of outdoor stuff to do and the weather is nice. you have seasons
