Default OT - tattooes and piercings

Do you have 'em? If so, do you wanna talk about 'em?

I myself have none and can't see myself ever going there. I frankly think they look bad (except for women with one piercing in each earlobe.)

Back in high school I had a few piercings, but I don't have them anymore. No tattooes for me either.

Tatoos and piercings are white trash and belong on the alternative freaks, especially piercings. Tattoos are more reserved for guys that at least like to carry 35% body fat on their physiques.

Never have even came close to considering any of that. Of course, if you're a girl it's OK to get your ears pierced.

My favorite are the scronny little dorks that paint their hair orange and have all these piercings. I always thought thought they are just making themselves look as ugly as possible so they wouldn't have to worry about acting like they are trying when they get rejected by girls.

You can make much more of a physical statement with nice clothes and a nice physique.

Well, that's twice today you've tossed me into the white trash pile, TGO I made great money landscaping for a while and I've got a tattoo. Care to go for a third? What else can we find about me that would fit into your white trash criteria?

I worked oilfield for a while, not slappin' chain, mind you, but I did work on site at the rigs. Is that a white trash job?

Drive a pickup truck, how's that?

Started school in a segregated system, does that count? Of course, I should tell you that it was segregated only in 1st-grade, and segregated by language since the little school only had one bilingual teacher.

Love C&W and Bluegrass music. Also like Classical, jazz and Big Band, so maybe that DQ's me.

How many other ways am I far removed from the perfection that is you?

A woman with a nice flat stomach looks good with a pierced belly button. I can't stand tatoos on woman. Total turn off.

No Willie, your not white trash, more a "drunk country boy Mexican". How's that for ya.

I bet that was some good times working in the oil fields i assume back in the 70's or even before that. I'm a country music fan myself, but listen to some other stuff too.

But I must say, aren't you like 70 years old and with that tattoo, how would you think people would perceive it? You probably don't care, but it's just not by style. One of my friends has a tatoo on his arm. I tell him all the time he needs to workout because that tatoo is not supposed to cover his whole arm. Actually, his first words after I saw it were; "God, doctor, tell me I'm not white trash".

Doctor was a nickname I had awhile back.

Drunk country boy Mexican, huh? My big city Irish father probably wouldn't like that description, but I can live with it. For the record, I rarely have more than two drinks in a day. Of course, I also rarely have less than two.

I did work in the oilpatch in the 70s, also the 80s during the Austin Chalk boom. Also drew a paycheck from an oilfield services company in the 70s while in SE Asia, though my work really had nothing to do with oil.

My knees and back feel like they are 70-yrs-old. But according to my birth certificate, I've only been around since shortly after General Eisenhower first took up residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Lastly, it's A-OK rooty-tooty fine by me that your style doesn't include tattoos.

I'd probably get a tattoo if it wasn't such a trend. Thought about something across the entire inside/forearm. Right into the aorta.

I could see tattoo removal becoming big business, though. Action and reaction.

I have a tattoo of an eagle swooping down on a rabbit accross my back. I also have my left nipple pierced but im thinking of getting that removed (or getting one in the other one ... I just feel unbalanced with it on its own)

The belly piercing is the only piercing I find objectionable on a woman, call me wierd. Ears are the normal, toungue is erotic, eyebrow is hip, nose is groovy. Without piercings is cool too though.

Tatoos are ok, except I think 95% of tatoos are just ugly and stupid. Look at Mike Tyson. Also, what's with everyone in the NBA getting Tatooed? Dennis Rodman was cool with the tatoos because that was his image. Same with Allen Iverson. Are the rest of these guys just wannabes?

Chicks with tatoos really needs to be taken case by case. I've seen chicks destroy their bodies with tatoos, IMO, but others that really looked good on them. Tatooing is really hanging your cheese out in the wind, because if it sucks, you are branded for life.

I'm mildly surprised. I thought we had a more pierced, tattooed crowd here for some reason.

No tats or piercings. Also Willie Bee you are far from white trash my
friend TGO you make some good points.

I know one thing about tattoos, it is a curse to get someones name
on your body. I have seen many people who have the names of
one of their ex's tattooed on em.

Unless you get your own or, in my case, the secondary moniker my pop hung on me about five minutes after I was born

And, no, I'm not tellin' what that is.

Aren't there enough ways to get infections without paying money to disfigure your body. Then when you are full of tatts, studs, rings, nuts and bolts and you don't get hired by someone you file a discrimination suit against them.Or else if you show up picking up your prom date and meet the girls old man for the first time you tell everyone that the dad was an a-hole because he wasn't friendly to you.

Hehe,I'm sounding like the red neck grumpy old men I remember as a kid here.hehe! But back then the girl's old man or guy hiring you wouldn't like you because you had a 1/8th inch scuff mark on your newly shined shoe.
