Geddy,

300k here gets you 4 bedrooms on an acre in a quiet neighborhood where you dont reach out the back door and touch the walls of the Tamil Tiger Becker's Milk owner behind you.

300k in Rexdale gets you a shared unit in Ontario Housing with a rasta guy who looks like Luke from the Mod Squad that feels the Canadian Govt. owes him something because he sells bad weed to Jr B players from Ajax at the Islington subway station.

Al Strachan and Bob Mackenzie never even played hockey, you know that eh?

Nina did you use to sell tugs at Chez Paree?

TB on the PL against each and every div opponent this year boys. Game on!

LOL, you have some of the stereotypes covered well, however in twenty years your $300k home will likely still be worth $300K, mine will be worth much more.

So what if Al Strachan and Bob Mackenzie never played hockey, that's a good thing, hockey players aren't known for their brilliant minds.

Lots of guys think they are from Canada so they are the authority on hockey and that is simply not true. I never even touched a stick and probably know more about the game than 80% of posters here.

Stereotypes? I'm from Mississauga. Would JJ bang Hazel? I bet he would.

Umm, no, My mortgage is paid 10 years+ before you compound that.

Geddy would'nt you like to catch Duthie with his head down at the blueline, nobody bugs me on TSN more than him, except McGuire. It's unwatchable now for hockey.

Too bad with those Vancouver winters you can't have a backyard rink from Dec to March like this anymore.
It is really, when I was growing we used to be skating on the Credit River by mid Nov.

If you want to joust with me you should take some time and practice, my 7 yr old has better comebacks than you.

Plus your writing makes little sense. If I can't understand you I don't really want to answer you.

I know its now public but Nicky sent me a private message telling me how he couldn't stand having to keep the charade going all this time, he wanted to be found out and exposed.

I tried baiting him many times, I'd insult Quebec but he never fell for that.

It was apparent early on that he's from Montreal, he slipped up too many times telling stories.

The Guy Lafleur stuff was priceless.

Now he has to deal with the fact that most here agree that Gretzky was a better player than Lemieux, it's tough being from Quebec, always second fiddle to Ontario.

Nicky, I don't even count the Leafs cups because they were before expansion.

I understand why you guys hold on to the glorious past of the Canadiens, they WERE great back in the 70's, I remember that, but those days are long gone Nicky, its today that matters, hell, it's been a long time since Toronto won the World Series, I don't celebrate it anymore, it been 15 years!

Nicky, your facts are correct, Montreal has won more cups, however continually pointing that out shows how delicate the psyche is of the average Montrealer.

Your city couldn't hold on to an MLB team, can't get an NBA team and doesn't compare to Toronto in any other way, with that sad reality you reach back and run the old "we got more Stanley Cups routine".

I used to be a Leaf fan, right now I'm no fan of any NHL team, I do support every Canadian based team except the Canadiens, I love when they lose.

Hating the Leafs is lame, it's like hating the Columbus Blue Jackets, they are a bad team, so are the Leafs, how can you hate a bad team?

Nicky, move on, I'll be impressed when the Canadiens win their NEXT Stanley Cup, there past wins mean nothing its now 2008.

What a sad and sudden end to a great hockey thread. Ever since I called on Nicky to admit that he really is Canadian he goes into hiding.

We need you back Nicky.

Nicky,

Ditch the lumber pal. Get composite esp because you play on cement only. Nicky, why not lace up the skates and join me on the ice. I would clown on you. I don't use plastic balls pal. I use volcanized rubber only. Nicky, I am a big timer pal.

fiver,

if you are ever around the area, and you like hockey, drop by.. if you dont leave my place saying that was the most awesome experience, i will be shocked. fiver, not only do i have a great HD connection, with the clarity of the game, you can see every fans grey hair, you can even see their pimples, or eyelids.. it is so sharp. but that's not the best part of it. i have a great home theater, with the sub woofer, and i swear, with each body check, you will duck.. you will feel like you've been hit.. you will shake. you hear the pucks, and you feel the checks, as the whole room shakes and you hear the boards shaking.. it is an incredible experience watching hockey here.. you will feel you're at the game live..
