Yeah they closed shop for most countries last summer after some lady took over as director over there. There was a list on which countries could still use it in a thread a while back, but it was not a long list, typically germany, austria, denmark, portugal, cyprus and so on I think.

Are you sure? They use geoblock or some kind of software that makes the sportsbook section invisible for people outside certain countries. I think if you use a german proxy you will see that the sportsbook is still very much up and running.

I think they closed shop for UK customers last summer. Most of central europe can still use their sportsbook operations. Not sure if using a proxy really solves anything - as they usually also go by the country you used in registration.

Not really - that list still includes most of central europe. However, I do agree that it is weird that they closed operations to certain EU countries. Anyway... still one of my favorite books And I don't think they're leaving the sportsbook business anytime soon - they're sponsors of rcd espanyol barcelona - I doubt they'd shell out so much money on a spanish team if they wanted to get out of the sportsbook business. And yes - they're based in austria - but the online operations are offshore.

I am happy that i have no account there, and for those who have account i suggest them to empty/close their account and find a different book.
If they are concentrating more on casino, it means they are planning to go out of sports bet completeley in the near future. They are trying to cut down their expenses, since casino doesnt have much expense, automatic computer programs make the money. They also cut down good amount of expense buy not paying to those "from now on forbidden countries"....

You are right. I can't understand the betters who say Interwetten has bad odds. Nobody has to take bad odds. Interwetten offers a lot of great odds and when the odds for a match are not good at Interwetten take them somewhere else where the odds are better. Everybody should have more than one sportsbook account. No sportsbook can offer the best odds for every bet.
