Default Trouble with Live Lines on SBR

Why is it that over the last few days whenever I get on MLB Live Lines the games and the odds don’t come up correctly. Most of the screen is blank and only when a book changes it’s odds do they come up. Some games are also missing.

Can anyone Please give me some advice to fix this problem as Live Lines are vital for my betting strategy.

It only happens when I am logged on. Do you think I need to reset my log in and start again.

I had other posters tell me this worked for them in the past, so it might work for you sir. Try powering down your computer for about 15 seconds and the start it back up.

Thanks for your replies but I am still having no luck with this. If I log in under my account name the only odds that come up are the ones that have changed after I log in. So very few odds are up. If I log out then all the odds come up on the first page but if I try to go to the second then it doen't load up properly. This has only happened in the last few days as I have used this page everyday for the last year or so.
Any furthur suggestiions are welcome. The above suggestions haven't worked so far.

Hey Mark Shark ...

At a bit of a loss here on your issue ... so let's try a few things to see if we can get to the bottom of it.

1. Try creating a new user name and password for customizing the lines. Better, worse, same?

2. Make sure your PC is free from any viruses or malware. Do a full scan for both. If you don't have those tools, I recommend PC Tools' Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus

3. Any recent changes to your browser settings? Which browser type and version?

If no improvements after this, PM me and we'll keep at it.

Does anyone know if Service pack 3 for Windows has anything to do with this, or has anyone experienced the same problems.

Thank's JJ for your kind words. I got some initial help last week from Sean but haven't heard from him for days now. I hope I hear something soon as it is mighty annoying.

My local papers here in Australia would be lucky to have the scores from the previous days games. But the tossing the coin might come in handy!!!

YES thank you aca. That is exactly what is happening on my computer. Maybe now these people at SBR might take this problem seriously. THANK goodness it isn't only me. Now what do we do to fix it????

Just because this is only happening to a few of us doesn't mean SBR should just pretend this isn't happening. The screen shots that aca took are exactly what is happening on my computer after years of logging onto this page. C'mon please find a solution as it is very annoying to not have the odds.

The problem is real and now it isn't only me. aca and Team Player also have the same problem that dates back about a week now. Surely all three of us didn't all screw up the same. It must be something from SBR's end that is affecting us.

Danny was definately drunk or on something I think.

Is anyone else outside of the USA having the same problems as aca, Team Player and I? Please let SBR know as they probably think this is just happening to a few of us.

still no fix SBR John. If you go up to aca's reply above, he has some screen shots that are exactly what I see when I load up my live lines page. Nothing has changed our end so maybe it is something you have changed or an avenue to your page is blocked somehow for people from certain parts of the world.

Not Sure but it is very annoying. I hope it is solved before NBA starts. I have not been able to check this website from another computer yet but will let you know when I do.

Nobody at SBR is pretending that this isn't happening Mark. As I've explained to you over the course of several exchanges on the matter, we've continued to be frustrated in our attempts to duplicate the problem. However, this doesn't mean that efforts to find and fix the issue have stopped. Quite the contrary.

As this appears to be an issue affecting only certain parts of the world, we're now looking at IP/ISP issues. Please realize that SBR has no control over any of the different Internet Service Providers throughout the world ... we are however working with our host here to determine what, if anything, can be done to eliminate the problems you guys are experiencing.

BTW, did you ever find an opportunity to try SBR Lines on a different PC (and/or from a different IP) and report back as requested? Judging from aca's response above, it certainly appears that there may be an IP/ISP issue since it works fine for him on one machine/ISP and not the other.

If it was an ISP issue why would I still be able to get most of the page but not the odds until they change with a book and then they come up. Also why is it affecting people from overseas? I hope to get some answers from my ISP soon.

ISPs cache web pages ... this could explain why you see the "template" but not the lines info. This doesn't explain why you see odds only when there's been a change.

Rest assured that we are asking and investigating the same questions regarding the problems that our overseas guests are experiencing.

Question: As you previously reported, is it still the case for you that everything loads fine when you are not logged in to SBR Lines? Reason I ask is that poster aca's screenshots indicate that he is not logged in.

This is a problem for me as well.

Always worked fine till about a month ago... now its a real pain in the ass. Almost always get "no info" for long periods of time. Not sure whats up because it always worked fine for me before this.

This happens whether I am logged in or not, right now its working fine but id say 65-70% of the time it gives me trouble now.

In the last few days I have even been having trouble getting on any of the SBR websites. I contacted my ISP and even them with their super fast speeds told me it took a long time for the page to download. I would definately love to get to the bottom of this problem.

OK I have finally tried the Live Odds website from a mates computer who is with a different ISP here in Australia. I got the "NO INFO AVAILABLE" text across the middle of the page just like aca and my computer at home. Is it possible that maybe your servers are blocking certain parts of the world. Just like companies do when they are being hit by a DDOS attack. Last week I couldn't get on your website for 3-4 days so maybe we can find an answer to this before the NBA season starts.
