Thumbs down Bet365 does NOT give the promotional bonus

hi my friends,

I opened an account at Bet365.com and i deposited 100 euro with the promotion 100% up to 100 euro bonus. After some days and some bets i lost my 100 euro of my deposit and then i told them that they did not put to my account the bonus. They told me that ''In order to reward new and existing customers, bet365 make regular offers such as bonuses and free bets. These offers are expensive and bet365 policy is therefore not to allow them to customer accounts where we consider that the offers could make a significant difference to the likely profitability of this account. Unfortunately, your account has been identified in this way, and whilst you may continue to bet with bet365 and receive offers in our Casino, Games and Poker Room, we are notifying you that your account will not be eligible for bet365 sportsbook offers in future.'' No problem with that... but as they say... in the future... they did not say that before depositing money to my account. Only after i lost my 100 euro they send this email.

Below is my live chat i had with their customer service...

Chat InformationThank you for contacting bet365 Live Chat. An advisor will be with you shortly.

Chat InformationYou are now chatting with Jamie B.

Jamie B: Hello, welcome to Live Chat. How may I help you?

NIKOLAOS: hi... when will you put to my account the 100 euro bonus you say at the promotion?

Jamie B: One moment please.

Jamie B: Is this for the Sportsbook, Poker, Casino, Games or Bingo?

NIKOLAOS: sportsbook

NIKOLAOS: i am waiting over 40 days ...

NIKOLAOS: did you forgot it?

Jamie B: You were sent an email on the 30th July informing you that your account does not qualify for any sportsbook offers.

NIKOLAOS: does not qualify? why?

Jamie B: One moment please.

Jamie B: In order to reward new and existing customers, bet365 make regular offers such as bonuses and free bets.

Jamie B: These offers are expensive and bet365 policy is therefore not to allow them to customer accounts where we consider that the offers could make a significant difference to the likely profitability of this account.

Jamie B: Unfortunately, your account has been identified in this way, and whilst you may continue to bet with bet365 and receive offers in our Casino, Games and Poker Room, we are notifying you that your account will not be eligible for bet365 sportsbook offers in future.

NIKOLAOS: you did not say that when i lost my 100 euro deposit...

NIKOLAOS: you say that after i lost my money

NIKOLAOS: ??

Jamie B: Is there anything else I can help you with today?

NIKOLAOS: yes

NIKOLAOS: i deposit 100 euro

NIKOLAOS: in order to have 100 euro bonus

NIKOLAOS: now that i lost my 100 euro deposit you say that my account does not qualify?

Jamie B: As previously advised, you are not eligible for any sportsbook offers

NIKOLAOS: you did not say that before i deposit money to my account

Jamie B: This was a decision made by our trading department.

NIKOLAOS: this is your decision but when i opened the account you did not say that

Jamie B: This was a decision made after you opened the account.

NIKOLAOS: you have to put back to my account the 100 euro bonus

Jamie B: I can not do that sorry.

NIKOLAOS: This was a decision made after i opened the account and after i lost my money...

NIKOLAOS: you have to put back to my account the 100 euro bonus

Jamie B: We can not do that sorry.

Jamie B: Unless you have any further queries regarding your account, I am unable to assist you.

NIKOLAOS: who is your supervisor?

NIKOLAOS: i want to complain about that

Jamie B: If you wish to escalate your query you can send an email to us.

Jamie B: Our e-mail address is support@customerservices365.com.

NIKOLAOS: this is customer service

NIKOLAOS: not the supervisor

NIKOLAOS: your manager email please

NIKOLAOS: i will have to complain about that

Jamie B: Any email that comes in can be forwarded to the relevant department.

NIKOLAOS: how fair is that ? not to give my the bonus?

Jamie B: If you have no further queries, I am unable to assist you.

NIKOLAOS: ok

Jamie B: Is there anything else I can help you with today?

NIKOLAOS: no

Beware my friend... Bet365 are not fair. They are not someone you can trust. Do NOT use them... They did that the next day after i lost my 100 euro. How fair can be that?

Sorry for my English but it's not my native language...
Thank you,
Nikolaos

lol...

they used the same text for more than 4 years now for everything.

I can understand your anger, but you have to realize that Bet365 only welcomes the 5 Euro punters

I've had this happen recently as well, although the bonus was denied before wagering and part of my deposit (my choice to leave some in) was refunded at the book's expense, which was reasonable. I've been reading about this happening a lot, at a lot of different shops, and it's just absurd.

1) If you offer a bonus, you can't deny it based on the action you later get. At worst you can prorate, but without a completely free cashout, that's still stealing IMO. Bet365 deserves a downgrade. It's complete bullshit, and it's over a whopping 100E. And their explanation is the best- lossely translated to "You would have a better than dumb blind luck chance of cashing this out, so you can't have it."

2) If you mass-mail, everybody who gets the email is entitled to the bonus, period. If you don't want to give the bonus to everybody, then say "Not all accounts are eligible. Check with CS for eligibility" like BetJam and Carib do.

3) If you cut an account off from promotions, ****ING TELL THEM. I've been cut off from bonuses (deposit/reload bonuses and reward points) more times than I can count, and not once has a book ever told me up front. How hard is it to communicate this when it happens? Seriously, 95% of the people cut off are sharps/arbers, whose action the book doesn't really love anyway, so there's not much harm in just saying it. It's similar with limit cuts- occasionally you get an email or a message on login, but most of the time you just find out when it's time to bet.

There must be about 100 topics on SBR about 3.65 removing bonuses from arbers..lol.
They simply don´t care, they are big in England and prolly have millons of clueless squares betting with them. They do not give a shit about SBR or any other forum.
They funny thing is, SBR still rated them A+ for a looong time, i never agreed with that.

What sort of matches did you bet on?
And what were the stakes?

Edit: Not that it makes it okay, just wondering.

Hello Tosser, I do agree with you 100% on that, SBR take very serious business with some books, but some are exception, I don't know why either, a lot of A books got complains and the rating stand still.

I never had a problem with them but i know how your feel. Do they don't have any terms and conditions on that bonus or something so the cutomer will if they are qualified or not?

That was the same wording that they used for me and then reduced my bet size to $10. I haven't played there since, but they did pay out my account. I know of several others who have been limited the same way and have $25 max bets.

Hi again...
1. They never put the bonus to my account. They just refused to credit my account with the bonus and that happened AFTER i lost my deposit money.
2. They did not have any rule to say that you are not eligible to have the bonus at the registration.
3. I have placed 3 single bets a>100*1.40 24/07/2008 won UEFA CUP. b>40*1.40 28/07/2008 won ENGLISH FRIENDLY c> 156*1.85 29/07/2008 lost UEFA CUP. All bet was on soccer
4. I think that the bonus had to be placed to my account after the deposit. They did not. Instead I told them that the did not put the bonus days later.
5. Bet365 does not deserve the rate they have and they just don't care about that...

Your 156 Euro bet was to much for them.

Please check this out:

If you say yes to more than 1 of this 3 opportunities you are not a customer they welcome.

1. Do you bet on different outcomes?
2. Do you use arbitrage software?
3. Do you bet more than 100 Euro on a single bet?

Hello people,

I have the same problem, but my problem is worse!! Because I don't want any bonus from them, I just want my winnings.

On 23.01 I deposited 500? with my ING visa electron card.
I opened my account to bet at the Australian Open. So most of my bets are from tennis.
I managed to reach my balance to 2400+. Yes I know, I had luck.
I can show you all my bets, to see I didn't cheat or anything. I play live betting mostly.

I asked a withdrawal on 26.01.
Nothing happened for 2 days.

Today I ask them what is happening? They say I need to send an ID. (why didn't they ask me from the start, and waited for me to contact them?)
I send.

They asked me next for my secret code I registered.
(what is this for?)
1990! That's the code.

And now they say I need to give them a PVC code they sent to my address. !!

I haven't received anything from them! This is just a scam to not pay my winnings.

Please help me with some advise. !!

Aavram,

This sounds like just a customer service issue. Have you telephoned customer service? Most books can handle security-related issues, but you have to call them (I must get 100 complaints a year similar to this, where the player did not call CS).

I sent this altough I don't like the idea someone has my personal data :|

Later I ask them about my pending payment (and my question is a response to the previous mail with the ID) and their answer:

Quote:
Dear Mr Avram,

Thank you for your e-mail.

In order to proceed, please confirm your four digit security number. The
4 digit security number is a number that you selected when you opened
your bet365 account. We ask you to provide this before any action is
taken on your account to ensure it is the account holder that we are
corresponding with.

If you are unable to remember this number, please confirm the following:

- Your username

- Your date of birth

- The first line of your address and your postcode

- Your email address (if applicable)

- The date and amount of your most recent deposit or withdrawal into
your betting account.

- The last 4 digits of the payment type you have registered on your
account (e.g. Credit Card, Neteller account number etc)

- Please select a 4 digit security number that you would like to
register to your account, something that is memorable to
yourself. You will be required to provide this number when contacting
Customer Services.
I give this too, I think there's a robot answering all the mail.
Their final answer:

Quote:
Dear Mr Avram,

Thank you for your e-mail.

In regards to your query, we have posted your unique postal verification
code to the address you have registered with us. You can submit this
online by simply logging in, visiting My Account in Members, selecting
verification and entering your unique postal verification code.

We will require that you quote this code to complete the full

bet365 isn't trying to rob you. They are just making sure the right person gets the money. While they have bonus issues, I don't know of anyone who hasn't gotten paid. Keep working and talking, it will sort itself out.

nikolaosoul, If you go here

http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk...?ContentId=251

Fire off an email, saying they used bait and switch tactics on you, I have recently read that people have got their bonus's this way, and a number of people are submitting complaints.

edit, I tried to send you a link to show exactly what to put in your email, but in their undoubted and insurmountable wisdom the forum Gestapo have disabled my PM's

Well after 2 days of talking on the phone they say I need to enter the PVC code otherwise they won't let me withdraw !!

there you have it, i have no proof they send this code , and they don't pay my winnings
there is no rule 'till actual TERMS OF USE that I need a PVC to withdraw my winnings.

This is for bonus abusers and I haven't requested any bonuses on their site.

BET365 is a F** SCAM

I've never had problems with bet365.... up until about 6 months ago. Since then I've had 3 problems with them that I won't get into but I will say, they seem to be getting more difficult to deal with.

So do not give up on bet365 as they still pay out winnings

So, what's the problem? You get the code, entered it, end of story. Completely predictable.
