Default How is New Orleans a pick'em this week?

If this board is any indication, 98% of people are on the Saints.

Surprised this line hasn't moved.

I personally picked Washington, but I seem to be in the vast minority here.

What gives?

The sharp money is on WASH here.............

The Skins opened +2 and are now -1 at some shops.............and this move has occurred, like you stated, with the majority liking NO here and at Wagerline(71% on the NO).

To offset that PUBLIC money, sharp money is coming in on WASH..........from sources like you.

I mean I think New Orleans is VERY live here, but Washington has a solid secondary and did a good job containing a very good NYG passing game in New York... containing a Colston-less Saints team doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility, and if TB can put up 20, I'm sure Washington at home can find the endzone a few times.

Oh well, we'll see I guess!

I just wish I would have played a teaser on WASH when they were +1.5.......through the key numbers of 3 and 7 .....to +7.5

Colston hasnt done much all year... The Saints depth on offense is ridiculously sick... Jeremy Shockey.. And Robery Meachem will play in place of Colston... Saints won't blow this game.. They have the best offense in the NFL aside the Cowboys... Too much for the redskins..

They will run on Jason Taylor's side all dayyyum day...It will be close, despite Washington holding a overall edge in this series of 16-7....The Redskins have scored a total of 10 points in there last 22 possessions...I see Campbell in the shotgun alot today, this is his 5th offensive scheme in 5 years.

I teased this game got it to +7.5 along with +5 for the colts, I see 20-17 game either team could win!

Preseason too dude... He didnt do anything last week and the Saints still scored 24 points on the Bucs tough defense.. Colston isnt as crucial to the offense as you think..

Pre-season does not count for much man.

New Orleans may very well win here, but losing Colston hurts, I think you are undervaluing him here.

like the Skins at home here. Think they win. Anytime u look at a thread and someone says "how this team not favored?" it's a sure sign the line is spot on.

Ok lemme run this by you... I have attended atleast 5 training camp practices in the last 5 years running each and every year... Im a season ticket holder... And a die-hard Saints fan.. You need to look a little deeper at the Saints offense if you think Colston hurts THAT bad... Losing any player hurts, sure... But Robert Meachem will be playing in his place today, and he had a great camp and is almost just as big as Colston.. This won't be much of an impact.. trust me.. Colston didn't do crap for the last half of last year.. We have only added to this potent offense..

Ok, fair enough. You are right that the dropoff from Colston to Meachem may not be too big, but wouldn't you rather Brees be throwing to both of them instead of just one of them? That was my point; The Saints do have plenty of depth on offense, but losing a weapon hurts whether you have an adequate replacement or not because it bumps the entire depth chart.

I'll agree with you though, it won't have a massive impact on the game. Washington was going to win or lose the same way they will today WITH him in the lineup as they will without. I was just trying to say it doesn't hurt the Washington side for Colston to be out, thats for sure.

Ok i thought you were trying to say the Saints winning or losing was vastly depedent on whether or not Colston was in or out of the game... fair enough..

To be honest with you Colston is a big target for our offense but we have a lot of depth at WR to the point Colston wont be missed!

Devery Henderson, David Patten, Lance Moore, Terrence Copper, Reggie Bush, Jeremy Shockey, and Robert Meachem!

This team is deep at WR!

washington's offense is anemic at best... I can count on the saints for about 21 pts can you say that about the skins?

Also 3 saints starters are out on defense... but you have no colston but you do have reggie bush and he's a playmaker he gets 1st downs thru mismatches and moves the chains... he's great for a passing threat but sucks between the tackles...

I really like saints QB situation over washington... Washington's secondary hasn't been the same since Taylor was shot

No bet for me on this game but saints backers must feel blessed right now. skins red zone offense terrible, 3 trips, 3 FGs plus 2 other missed FGs
