Thats why I put it in there. I liked it and then threw it out because I was thinking "you went 2 - 5 last week... don't take risks". But last minute I said to myself last week is in the past. If South Florida holds on and I go 4 - 3, I'm thinking I'm on top of the world and definitely make this pick and probably throw in Buff -6 too. But a tough loss and now I'm going to be timid? No way. Since I go to NC State Ill be rooting against clemson. Although it wont matter who im rooting for anyway cause we stink. Clemson's qb is banged up and their starting three frosh on the oline just something to keep in mind. Also regarding the william and mary game i was at the game and the score was 34-10 until state put in 3-4 string so that final score does not indicate the game.

The O-Line is the only thing that concerns me... they didn't look great against the Citadel. If NC State wins the battle at the lines that 18.5 could look like a joke in a hurry. I just don't think NC State will overpower, and I also think they will have an awful hard time finding the endzone.

You are right about the W&M game, I should have been fairer in my video. It was 21 - 10 though at the end of the 3rd Q, not exactly what you want to see in that game.

Hey thanks for the quick response. One thing that works in our favor is that we are getting our starting qb back who will more than likely run more of an option offense. But we will be without are #1 rb, #1 and #2 te and our #1 reciever. Clemson has an amazing backfield and if we cant stop them and their screen plays look out. Check out this link Ive added. I am going to be interested in the under for the first half. Our defense is solid but tire out because the offense cant do much. Look at the South Carolina game 0-3 at half.

Its funny, I was just thinking about how similar this whole thing is to a basketball game.

Lets say for a second (sorry don't mean to beat this dead horse) that Grothe doesn't throw that pick, South Florida runs out the clock, and I win both USF -12.5 and the Under 53. Now I'm 4 - 3 on the week and everyone congratulates me on a great week. Instead it unravels and I go 2 - 5 and all of a sudden all the haters come out and rip me a new one.

It's like a game winning 3 at the buzzer. If you hit it and win 90 - 89, everyone talks about what a great game it was and what a great win it was for your team. If it hits the rim and barely misses, and you lose 89 - 87, and everyone talks about all the bad fouls you took, free throw trouble, etc etc...

Funny how much it shifts on one little bounce.

First game on the road, two blowouts were against pitiful Idaho and rusty/outmatched Toledo... New Mexico play A&M tough last week and I still need to see a few more games out of Zona before I trust them.

After watching your vids, i must tell you i have my questions about your capping abilities,not cause you had a poor week 1,but for other reasons that i believe to be detrimental to gamblers in the long run. i.e betting 9 games on one Saturday.JMO

More importantly from watching your vids and reading some of your posts,you come across as a gentleman with a quality character.

I wish you good returns 0n your gambling investments.

Its too tough to say. I really see it going one of two ways (and this won't wow anyone)...

1) USC runs all over Ohio State and easily covers.

2) Ohio States fast defense keeps the passing game in check and the LBs and D-Line keep the running game in check, and the game goes to the wire where "anything can happen". Do I think USC will lose here? Not really, but a defensive struggle would make it come down to the wire.

Either way, I don't see Ohio State scoring much on the road against this defense. Which brings me to the only real opinion I have on the game...

IF you like Ohio State + the points here (I don't love or hate it), you should parlay this with the UNDER. No way Ohio State shoots out with this team against USC's defense IMO. If Ohio State covers, it'll be a 17 - 10, 21 - 13 type score... 27 - 17 even falls under. If USC puts up 30+ points, I don't see you covering.

Should be a fun game to watch. I think both sides of the spread are live... its either a close game battle of defenses or USC rolls.
