Obama Will Lose the Election Unless . . . .
. . . . . he goes after Xena the Governor Princess full steam.
Get a choice piece of the tape that's out there of a guy from something called "Jews for Jesus," who spoke at her current church last month, claining that Israelis are terror targets because they have not converted to Chrisitanity.
Palin was said to be in the congregation (has to be proven, tho) and said nothing to protest. It fits in with the dispensationalist doctrine that Jews must convert to Christianity.
But the real dynamite could be from the dispensationalist church she belonged to for around 20 years, the Assemblles of God, in her town of Wasilla.
A report on the Net the otehr day (again, the press needs to do a verification check) has it that this church last Wednesday obliterated the archives of their sermons that they have stored online, going back many years.
This expose of Xena's strange associations can be done in a low-key but persinstent manner: like, we're sure there is an explanation for this, will Gov Palin please explain?
Other than religious bizarrities, she also spoke recently at the last convention of the Alaskan Independence Party. (Vid is online) The founder of that party said that he "hated" the United States. (Palin's husband used to be a member of that party.)
Obama needs a Karl Rove to get down and dirty.
There is a way to pop the Xena bubble (lots of bad jokes there) without it seeming a petty personal attack on Governor Princess herself. Just an honest inquiry as to what is good for America.

The gains the GOP ticket is making is due solely to Xena's growning popularity (which again provides solid verification for HL Mencken's monumental statement about the intelligence of Americans - which I'l refrain from repeating here).
Most of the gains are from white women.
Women vote their fears. They don't, in general, like confrontation, either among nations or people. They are "mothering," and see in Xena a kindred sprit.
A full inquiry into her associations and speeches is warranted.
The females have to be shown that Xena could show she's a warrior by firing an opening salvo at Russia (when old President John passes on to that putative "better world.")
The Dems - other than Clinton in the 90s - have proven themselves for 40 years to be generally poor campaigners.

Barack's lost a large percentage of white women voters. Seems like they're still angry about Hillary losing. Barack should have chosen Hillary as VP. After 8 years of Bush, the Democrats have turned the election into a coin flip.

Any Hilary supporter voting for McCain is insane. Palin represents and stands for everything that the Clinton's have spent their entire lives fighting against.

The Dems can take on Xena without appearing as anti-women.
After all, the GOP propaganda machine went full bore after Mrs Obama over her statement about "the first time I felt proud to be an American."
Xena has a ton of embarrasing baggage in her closet. If the Dem ticket is not to be cancelled in November, the sh1t has to be hauled out, one by one.
If the Dem Party is too squeamish to do it, one of the non-affiliate but pro-Obama groups must, like Move On.
Exactly like the "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" were going after Kerry four years ago. On behalf of George W Bush.
The main money-man behind the Swift Boat gang was T. Boone Pickens, the billionaire Texas oilman who face is currently all over the box, promoting green alternatives.
Where is the Democrat's Pickens, a wealthy donor who will fund a "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth about Sarah"?
Ok, better something like "Alaskans for Truth."
Doesn't matter if the funders are not Alaskans. Pickens wasn't a Swift Boat Veteran, and most of the propagandists for that group, the writers, cameramen, co-ordinators, et al weren't even veterans.
They got a few of the real articles, and made them into a "virtual" army. One or two intelligent anti-Xena Alaskans is all one needs.

Obama Can't Win Against Palin
By KARL ROVE
Of all the advantages Gov. Sarah Palin has brought to the GOP ticket, the most important may be that she has gotten into Barack Obama's head. How else to explain Sen. Obama's decision to go one-on-one against "Sarah Barracuda," captain of the Wasilla High state basketball champs?
It's a matchup he'll lose. If Mr. Obama wants to win, he needs to remember he's running against John McCain for president, not Mrs. Palin for vice president.
Michael Dukakis spent the last months of the 1988 campaign calling his opponent's running mate, Dan Quayle, a risky choice and even ran a TV ad blasting Mr. Quayle. The Bush/Quayle ticket carried 40 states.
Adlai Stevenson spent the fall of 1952 bashing Dwight Eisenhower's running mate, Richard Nixon, calling him "the kind of politician who would cut down a redwood tree, and then mount the stump and make a speech for conservation." The Republican ticket carried 39 of 48 states.
If Mr. Obama keeps attacking Mrs. Palin, he could suffer the fate of his Democratic predecessors. These assaults highlight his own tissue-thin résumé, waste precious time better spent reassuring voters he is up for the job, and diminish him -- not her.
Consider Mr. Obama's response to CNN's Anderson Cooper, who asked him about Republican claims that Mrs. Palin beats him on executive experience. Mr. Obama responded by comparing Wasilla's 50 city workers with his campaign's 2,500 employees and dismissed its budget of about $12 million a year by saying "we have a budget of about three times that just for the month." He claimed his campaign "made clear" his "ability to manage large systems and to execute."
Of course, this ignores the fact that Mrs. Palin is now governor. She manages an $11 billion operating budget, a $1.7 billion capital expenditure budget, and nearly 29,000 full- and part-time state employees. In two years as governor, she's vetoed over $499 million from Alaska's capital budget -- more money than Mr. Obama is likely to spend on his entire campaign.
And Mr. Obama is not running his campaign's day-to-day operation. His manager, David Plouffe, assisted by others, makes the decisions about the $335 million the campaign has spent. Even if Mr. Obama is his own campaign manager, does that qualify him for president?
A debate between Mr. Obama and Mrs. Palin over executive experience also isn't smart politics for Democrats. As Mr. Obama talks down Mrs. Palin's record, voters may start comparing backgrounds. He won't come off well.
Then there was Mr. Obama's blast Saturday about Mrs. Palin's record on earmarks. He went at her personally, saying, "you been taking all these earmarks when it is convenient and then suddenly you are the champion anti-earmark person."
It's true. Mrs. Palin did seek earmarks as Wasilla's mayor. But as governor, she ratcheted down the state's requests for federal dollars, telling the legislature last year Alaska "cannot and must not rely so heavily on federal government earmarks." Her budget chief directed state agencies to reduce earmark requests to only "the most compelling needs" with "a strong national purpose," explaining to reporters "we really want to skinny it down."
Mr. Obama has again started a debate he can't win. As senator, he has requested nearly $936 million in earmarks, ratcheting up his requests each year he's been in the Senate. If voters dislike earmarks -- and they do -- they may conclude Mrs. Palin cut them, while Mr. Obama grabs for more each year.
Mr. Obama may also pay a price for his "lipstick on a pig" comment. The last time the word "lipstick" showed up in this campaign was during Mrs. Palin's memorable ad-lib in her acceptance speech. Mr. Obama says he didn't mean to aim the comment at Mrs. Palin, but he deserves all the negative flashback he gets from the snarky aside.
Sen. Joe Biden has now joined the attack on Mrs. Palin, saying this week that her views on issues show she's "obviously a backwards step for women." This is a mistake. Mr. Obama is already finding it difficult to win over independent women and Hillary Clinton voters. If it looks like he's going out of his way to attack Mrs. Palin, these voters may conclude it's because he has a problem with strong women.
In Denver two weeks ago, Mr. Obama said, "If you don't have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from." That's what he's trying to do, only the object of his painting is Sarah Palin, not John McCain.
In Mrs. Palin, Mr. Obama faces a political phenomenon who has altered the election's dynamics. Americans have rarely seen someone who immediately connects with large numbers of voters at such a visceral level. Mrs. Palin may be the first vice presidential candidate since Lyndon B. Johnson to change an election's outcome. If Mr. Obama keeps attacking her, the odds of Gov. Palin becoming Vice President Palin increase significantly.

I agree with the Rove article posted by ms6etc
Tho I do think an "independent" group, modelled after the "Swift Boat" bs of four years ago would do well to go after Palin.
Given McCain's age and his history of cancer, it would be effective, I think, esp among independents.
But, it is true. Obama must go after John. He has to take off the gloves and slam ol' John. The GOP is running some bad attack ads. Reason is - they work.

This is what I mean... There are others besides Obama and McCain "ON THE TICKET"... I think what you meant to say was "if a cricket would have a chance to win I would vote for it"... That's how people vote in this society... They want their vote to count so they think it does by voting for who "has a chance to win"... People in this society do not deserve democracy...

yes.
You should struggle for what you believe in.(provided you try to develop an understanding of the situation in question). This might include voting, it might not.
No matter who wins they will be mostly figureheads for a corrupt, murderous system. So it is important to understand the network involved. That is the business or corporate interests which are the true masters.(that is the ticket).
so lets vote for a cricket.

CAPITAL GAINS TAX
MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.
OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales. (How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.)
DIVIDEND TAX
MCCAIN
15% (no change)
OBAMA
39.6% - (How will this affect you? If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama becomes president. The experts predict that 'Higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market, yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.')

Married making 75K - tax $21,000
Married making 125K - tax $38,750
Under Obama, your taxes could almost double!
INHERITANCE TAX
MCCAIN
- 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)
OBAMA
Restore the inheritance tax
Many families have lost businesses, farms, ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will only lose them to these taxes.
NEW TAXES PROPOSED BY OBAMA
New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet. New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already) New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity) New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least....New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!
PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THE ABOVE DO NOT TAKE OBAMA'S CONSIDERATION TO CHANGE HIS MIND FOR VOTES!!! HE EVEN PICKED A WASHINGTON INSIDER FOR HIS VP.

I'd much rather have Obama.
Mccain finished last in Naval Academy (894/899) actually. Can you tell me about his formal education? What college did he go to? He's just another Bush. Another ignorant, uneducated white male that the "good ole' boys" and other uneducated folks vote for because they're afraid of change. Afraid of having a black President?
People need to do research. Wonder why we can't bet on sites such as Pinnacle and others? The Republicans are taking it away, our right of freedom. Or you can listen to Palin and believe that gambling is hurtful to families so we shouldn't have it.
"Gambling has shown ill effects on families and as Governor I would not propose expansion legislation," Mrs. Palin stated emphatically.
Will drilling offshore lower our gas prices? Hell no, not until around 2030 or so. We need alternative sources unless you like being dependent on gasoline, as the oil companies can keep jacking the price of gas, and what are you going to do about it? No sex-education in school? What the ****....
The McCain/Palin ticket is way too conservative for me.
If Obama loses the election, the citizens of America will have made another mistake just like with Bush.
