Default How are UK bookies taxed?

Does anyone know?
DO they have some special taxes compared to "normal bussiness firms"?
Are some taxes like flat fee or some taxes from turnover?
Thanks!

Currently it's a Gross Profits tax, which will change when the Gambling act comes in force this summer.

How are Deagols from Middle Europe taught English? Were you taught by some child with an extra chromosome or did you just make up the word "taxated" while you were walking around in your own little fantasy world picking wild mushrooms?

Unfortunately, yes. There is no other way to get through to him. Otherwise he will just sit around reading The Greatest Book of Wisdom all day long while trying to envision ways to pack innumerable pairs of animals on some boat he wants to make.

Yes. I must confirm, I am in love with everybody, like my religion says. Our teenage friend "Isetcap", who barely knows one word from my language /coincidentally it is beer/, will be saved for sure Please if some mod or admin can edit the my grammar mistake... do it and God bless you too.

Btw. thank you Santo very much. I was thinking about the tax problem in last days, I would never thought I can get an answer at forum full of atheist fanatics.

actually this sentence is a big grammar mistake!
we have 3 genders like he/she/it, "dobry" you can say with "he", but pivo is NOT "he" but "it", so pivo je dobré... but who cares about grammar

This is coming from an Idiot who can't even spell his own name correctly when registering at a forum.

I am holding tongue and pray for you!
If somebody has something to taxes and bookies I would appreciate it and please ignore him.

Do you have any opinion on the changes? Or are they not clear yet?
As far as I know the UK is surely the best place to live authority wise when it gets to gambling, but let it be the last place on earth where I would like to live.

I have no problem living here, I'm out in the countryside pretty much with high-speed net, HDTV etc..

As for the new regulations, they don't change the situation for the individual, the book just has to pay slightly more which goes to cover the cost of regulation, which is in the form of an ombudsman with a lot more teeth than IBAS.
