I have played at Absolute (hate it), Doyle's, Bo Dog, Full Tilt, Poker Starts and Paradise poker over the years. I stick to Doyle's and Poker Stars as of late.

I used to play alot but finally got burned out and prefer to wait and play live.

Seems like online poker always sets up hands against one another for maximum pots, which equal maximum rakes.

Occasionally play in tournaments at Pokerstars, would much rather play live though when possible.

That's because those are the ones that go to showdowns... When somebody has AK and somebody else has A9

Flop comes A 9 2

These are the ones that go to showdown...

The times somebody holds AK vs J10 will end typically end early and rake won't be significant

For me #1 Full Tilt
#2 Poker Stars
#3 Ultimate Bet -Used to be my favorite but numbers have fallen off.

When they used to accept U.S. players I felt Party Poker was the best site...I'm really not sure how it has fared since disallowing U.S. players.

I once saw a graph of their hits per day after they disallowed U.S. players it looked like a cliff, anybody still play there?

Its hit and miss, I'm pretty sure they will only banks declining the charge will kill the deposit...at least was like that 6 or so months ago.

I'm a retired online poker player. Online poker is comical, too much BULLSHIT. I'm a professional and I only play live games. Don't fall into the trap that is online poker.
