Default Never saw Jordan play this awful

JJ you still think Lebron is superman? All you have to do is have someone with some balls to cover him and you will find out he is a mediocre shooter. Now that everyone is getting to watch the whole game and not a 30 second dunkfest late night on ESPN what ya think? Now im comparing him to Jordan because that is who he pretends to be. Can the press blame this loss on the Cleveland team again since they lost in order to protect Lebron's feelings? I lost all respect for Mike Fratello tonight. His blatant assing kissing of Lebron made me want to puke. Is everyone in the league instructed to only talk highly about him? Hell even Barkley now is blaming it on the Cleveland coaching staff. Even Barkley has become a shill.

He couldnt even make a layup at the end tonight. Costed them the game, Jordan never did that.

I'm sure he did, but history is kind. In 20 years no-one will remember this game of Lebron's but they'll still talk about 25 straight vs Detroit last year.

P.S. I hate Lebron, but the above is still the truth.

Lebron is a good player but his jump shot is horrible. He gets most of his points driving the lane. Still think he is one of the better players in the league though. To guard him you just have to force him to shoot from the outside and he is done

Lebron is a good player, no doubt, how can you hate on the guy? He's great, maybe he doesn't have the best jumper, or what ever else you want to throw at him, but hes a good player, and you cannot deny that, and if you do, you're retarded.

The guy is no Kobe Bryant, but who is? Kobe is the best player in the NBA, i mean not everyone can do everything, besides Kobe.

nah celtics are gonna beat the cavs badly in game 2. they are gonna up the tempo and score the usual 97-100 points and they are gonna bury lebron's cavs by like 18. they underachieved greatly last night. people may say lebron under achieved which is true but dont expect zylgaukas to score 25 again which will make up for lebrons missteps. z will score like 12 and they will get burried big time. bostons defense is too good.

three guys . What they find three plays last night with three guys on him? Every excuse in the world is made up for this kid. I guess Jordan never had a double team in his life. The guy wants to be called a king and he wants to wear number 23 he ought to take some tough love. Those finals last year he was shooting so bad that Bruce Bowen was daring him to shoot. 3 guys on him lol. Is that how ESPN is spinning it today? I guess they found the three plays so they put them in that all important highlight real at the end of the night and everyone falls for it.

Lebron is what, 12 years old? hes the most talented player in the league, his shot is improving, and he can get to the lane when he wants. the refs, and being a cry baby, make it hard to like him, however.

Mo i think it is more the NBA then Lebron but it has now gone to his head. These announcers won't say one bad thing about him. You would think his game is perfect. Fratello was making every excuse in the book for him last night. You go to ESPN and every night the same thing. He blew to key layups last night and one in the Wizzard series and all three were easy shots but its always something. He was fouled, triple teamed etc. Just say he missed it for goodness sakes and move on. They have so much money tied up in him that they have to shill for him every night but what is sad is people are suckers for a shill job. You put a good defender on him and give the defender a chance without some bull ticky tack fouls and he gets shut down almost every time. You take away his power game and he is just an above average player. It was nice to see the Wizzard try it at times. You rarely see anyone in this league try it. Cleveland is not a bad team. They are mediocre with some decent players. How could people say Iggy stinks? He is one of the top centers in the league. That is not saying much in this league but he gives an honest effort. How many teams would like to have him at center? Gibson is a nice outside shooter as is Wally. The way the press talks you would think Lebron is surrounded by 11 stiffs. When Cleveland loses its the teams fault. When they win its all Lebron the King.

You cant make statements like that without saying it for everyone. How about if you took away Shaq's power in his prime? Or how about take away Kobe's jumpshot?

MJ didnt make the Finals until he was 28, this kid did it in his fourth year at the age of 22. The last person I can think of that took his team to the Finals at such a young age and got swept was Shaq. His career turned out allright and he still couldn't hit a free throw to save his life. This guy will be something special, dont kid yourselves on thinking differently.

5th year stats for both players:

MJ: 32,8,8
LeBron: 30,8,7

I wouldn't say LeBron has nothing on him. Is he MJ? No. But I think his game is more compareable to Magic than Jordan, anyway.
