I'm all ears.

I pretty much just do what Stanford Wong says, with regard to the teases, teams that are -7.5 to -8.5, or underdogs to the tune of +1.5 to +2.5. I never tease more than two teams, or very rarely, and I go for the standard 6pts.

I like playing them at books such as 5d or FF where the 6pters have no juice, however I think they're conscious of the teases because they are usually a half pt off from Wong's limitations. The -110 6pt books usually give you the parameters needed.

5Dimes is a "sharp" teaser book. You think you're getting the best of it, but they shade their lines to punish sharp teaser players.

Look for a book that has +100 on 2-teamers, or +180 on 3 teamers. These are very comperable, and a lot of -110 books will offer +180 on 3 teamers.

First fidelity (Betpop.com) is a fantastic book for teasers, as well as parlays (2 teamers pay +280). I consider this a mandatory out. It's only rated B-, but I am not aware of any complaints with them in the last year (or longer where they were in the "wrong").

There are several situations outside of wong teasers that are profitable. Do your own due diligence. Look very closely at games with low totals.

I'd much rather have someone spell it all out for me.

Come on, Justin. I've posted here daily for long enough and enough hours to have a pro such as yourself help me become uber rich at teasers and NFL betting...

You may share your secrets by PM out of pity and another soul will not be informed...

Look at the moneyline of the favorite you are teasing down.

If you have a 7-pt fav with a total of 37, you might see an ML of -300/+270.

Expect it to land on the "1" about 2% of the time. Can you spell a-r-b-i-t-r-a-g-e? With low totals, it's not uncommon to see MLs like this on 7, or even 6x. With a total of 6x, you can tease down to -0.5, and take a ML of more than +250. Free money is a wonderful think.

If you need someone to "insure" the "1", I can arrange this for large limits (I used to pay individuals to do this, and arb my entire bankroll on stuff like this when I was "young"). If you're worried about ties, you can insure that also. Just ask matchbook or pinnacle to put up a 2-way market on it.

Thanks for the reply.

I have heard or read about teasing the low total games, but never sprinkled those in with Wong. I pretty much did those exclusively, but this year I will definitely branch out. I really want it to be a profitable season, so I'm going to try to focus, stay disciplined, and not chase.

I will bookmark your comments here and then take another look as the season comes closer.

These lines are currently posted at TheGreek:

None of those lines will be valid in September. Preseason and injuries makes those lines obsolete.

For the most part that is probably a very fair assessment sir. So if you like anything early you need to get down ASAP before that happens.

C'mon no faith in Smith and the Niners...sure he had a terrible year but was injured for the better majority of it and played a good deal of games with the injury before sitting out for the rest of the year. I think we will be decent this year...just hoping Smith can improve from what he did a couple years ago. Davis is a great target for him if he stays healthy...still need a little help at WR but I think the defense is really coming around. I didn't know anything about handicapping last year but only laid a bet on the Niners in the last game against TB but feel their lines might be a little inflated for a good majority of the year so might pick my spots as a gambler and not a fan.

Alex Smith is terrible. He'd need to take a huge step up this year to be a passable NFL starter.
