I also need the payouts to pay my CC bills. I was thinking of just telling them the truth. I sent mney to an online casino, I won and now they won't pay me.
It's quite possible that now that it is illegal for banks to knowingly send funds to offshore gambling sites, that we may not even have to justify the charge back. Perhaps all we have to do is point out that the charges were for gambling, and the CC will have to cancel them.
The reality is, if enough people do charge back, Jazette might lose thier CC proccessors, and that would pretty much be the end of the book

I think it would be hard to go to the cc and you would have to say that the money was never credited to you.
The good thing is, a lot of us are at the beginning of when this started so we should be first to get our checks sent out.
I just talked to a rep that said Bank wire is up and running, any thoughts?

the rep I just spoke to said no bank wires yet. Hopefully sometiem this week. But it will still take 1-2 business days for them to process, and then another 3-5 business days until you get the money.
Not suprisingly, Jazette really dropped the ball. They've never cared about cs, and now it may come to a head. I almost wnat to do a chargeback out of spite at this point.

There are a few reasons wrong with charge backs... I would only use that as a last resort... A good point was made tht a charge back may get you bliacklisted not to mention that or other charge cards you have may block certain types of transactions causing yo a bigger hassle.. I have learned one thing..being impaitient and hasty usually means bigger headaches along the way... Lastly we want these books around so we can bet so an over reacton may cause these books to slow down more or go under...

I agree with everything you are saying. But I think the way sportsbook.com is handling the situation is creating a lot of ill will. And you have to understand also, that because sportsbook.com and family are abel to take credit cards. Many of us, deposit far more then we could afford. But we do so, becuase we've always been able to withdraw our money in time to pay our bills. And now our bills are due, we haven't been able to get our money for 3 weeks, and there is no timefram now as to when payouts will be processed. It's getting kind of scary.
What is crazy, is that Jazette management isn't taking the CS aspect of this seriously. How many people have to do a chargeback before Jazette loses thier credit card porcessors. You would think, that management would be sendindg out letters of apology, trying to explain the situation. Instead they don't seems to give a damn. It doens't make a differecne whether you are owed $50 or $50,000, no one is going to try to help you. No one is going to make any promises to you, or even speak t you.
So i this mess spirals out of control, and sportsbook.com goes out of business as a result, Jazette would have only themselves to blame.

I had a similar problem with Bodog and just got paid on 1 of my 2 withdrawls after waiting for over a month and getting an endless runaround from customer service.
I had honestly lost faith I would ever see anything, but they did step up (finally) and pay and it sounds like SB is large enough where they will likely do the same.
I know that doesn't help you sleep better, but I certainly hope you get your payouts soon....please let us know how it turns out, I am trying to gauge the current online payout thing.

Why hasnt anyone from SBR helped out and found out information from managemnet who we do not have any access to.
I know they rate them poorly, but alot of us use more than one book, and didnt know about the rating until we got here. It has been long enough where i hoped they would have some help for us.

jstblaze,
This isn't aproblem of nto having the money to pay. The problem is finding a processor. That is a problem that all the sportsbooks ahd to deal with. And it seems like whatever processor, they hoped to have in plce, either fell through, or they are still negotiating with.
In any event, when your primary and now only mechanism for dpeosit is credit card, and then you shut off withdrawals, for whatever reason, you have a recipe for disaster.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to reverse the money and then request a withdrawal via bank wire?
Sportsbook.com used to be so convenient, now this.

According to the cs clerks I spoke to, they aren't yet able to do bank wires. SO the risk you hvae is if you cancel your check to do a bank wire, and they don't get the bank wires up and running, and you decided to go back to a check, then you will have gone from the front of the line, to the back of the line. By now, they probably do have a very significant backlog.
It would be nice if they would contact the players who are waiitng on significant amounts of money, and offer to expedite our payments by bankwire. But they aren't doing that, and they won't.
In thier minds, as long as they have thier clerks say "sorry for the inconvience" at the end of every conversation, they are off the hook.

I am pathetic
I honestly feel i could have made this much money working at McDonalds for all the time I have spent talking to CS. I run home from school to read this forum / check my e-mail and harass customer support. DO I HAVE A PROBLEM?
Here is the latest:
You: when should i expect the check
Colin Benson: The latest update we have received on this issue is that all withdrawals for all customers should be sent by 03/16/07.
Yea Bro, you are telling me that magically sportsbook.com is going to make 100,000+ checks appear in everyones stockings.
Is it possible to fly down there, is anyone else down?

I've been in this situation and I can say that being too impulisive or (haste makes waste ((man I hated that saying growing up)) will cause more delays so relax and keep at them I am confident they will pay and confident their issues are legit...

Sportsbook.com Has Everybody On This Forum Grabbing Their Ankles. Common Sense Will Tell You That Their Recent Bankwire Offering Is Just Another Elaborate Stall Tactic. Your V-chips Are Literally Virtual These Days Because You'll Never See Them. This Company Left Everybody Holding The Bag And There Is Absolutely No Recourse At The Moment. Those $9.00 An Hour Cs Reps Can't Move Mountains For Any Of You. They'll Just Keep Feeding You The "10-12 Business Days Due To A New Processor B.s." And Try To Restore Your Confidence With A Bankwire Option That Does Not Even Remotely Work At The Moment. For All The Suckers That Are Going To Redirect Their Pending Fedex Withdrawls To This Fantasy Bankwire Option, Please Save Me A Spot In The Back Of The Line And Let Me Know How You're Living. I've Got Around 9k
In Pendings With This Degenerate Driven Company And I've Pretty Much Accepted The Fact That They Put My Money To Sleep Until That Magical Processor Comes By To Save The Universe.

I just finished another jerk-off session with a cs manager. I thought I've heard it all until he suggested that I redirect my pending Fedex's back to my players account because he feels that Dallas is going to cover tonight in Golden State!!! These cs idiots never seize to amaze me. Are their phone calls really monitored???

I second the question of why anyone at SBR (Bill or whoever else) isn't saying or doing anything about this - this is a huge sportsbook and Jazette owns a whole bunch of others -- WHAT THE F... is going on?!
Just did a chat right now -- Same canned cut and paste responses from CS - no official timeframe, still in process, unacceptable delay, should be resolved soon.
