Texas is medicoire like always, always has been an underachieving basketball team and breaks every rules violation in the book

Good question. They always seem to be one shooter short. But they are big and deep so they will still be a team that can pull the upset. I could see them making the sweet 16 but beyond that I think they will still shoot a poor % which makes it tough to go deep in the tourny.

Texas is +5000 at Pinnacle right now to win it all. I'm thinking that actually might be worth a shot. They do seem to have a strong team comming back this year IMO, and they should get a pertty sweet seeding for the tourny.

OK without looking at the roster I believe they lost 4 out of there starting 5(Buckman,Tucker,LaMarcus and gipsom). So how can they be deep? I know they had a badass recruit from the east coast coming in and the OU commit who got his release after samson left but those guys are unproven.

Your right bud, they did lose alot of starters last year. However, they were a very deep team too IMO
