If you have withdrawn recently and had your book send you a check, how "friendly" has the check been to deposit at your bank. I'm sure the check doesn't have the book's name on it. I'm guessing it probably is sent by a 3rd party.

I'm getting ready to make a withdrawal from Bodog by check and just curious if I should expect any problems with depositing it at my bank. Any feedback or experiences would be appreciated.

Hey Mar... I will be happy to share with you the few experiences I have had with checks even in years past... If it is suspicious meaning for a large amount or from a third party person (someone else's name on it)... the bank can hold it until they feel it has cleared and it not a stolen or fraudulent check... I have had a few held (14 business days) and release with no problem... that is all i really have to share as my checks have came USUALLY when they should...

I had no problems at all with my check from 5dimes but it was only for $500.

No problems for me either. Have requested many checks. The most recent were from matchbook but it was actually paid by Solidpay. My bank even credits my account instantly, not waiting for the check to clear.

maritime, they usually come from some out of the state bank, but there's not too much hassle in depositing them...
