I am scheduled to interview the handicapper tomorrow and will see what he will allow me to share about his wagers. He also had a healthy account that is frozen. I am told by him and a few players that this is unresolved.

Sorry to hear about that curious.. I hope they get your money to you... I had problems with them years ago as I mentioned in the past but I thought they were ok for anything under 5K... It's not worth the risk...

NOW THIS IS THEFT PEOPLE!!!

Bet Royal does nothing but lie to us. This is not resolved. I have a strong feeling that SBG/Bet Royal plan on robbing us unless someone can bring pressure on them that they care about.

But their terms and conditions say...

"4.9 Collusion or attempted fraud

BetRoyal reserves the right to void any or all wagers made by any person or group of persons acting in an attempt to defraud BetRoyal. Where there is evidence of a series of wagers each containing the same selection(s) having been placed by or for the same individual or syndicate of individuals, BetRoyal reserves the right to make wagers void or withhold payment of winnings pending the outcome of any investigation."

Therefore, Curious is a shot-taker, right?

P.S. Curious, the above is just for argument's sake with my buddy Shams. I DO believe you are NOT a shot-taker and should most certainly be paid if your story is true.

Hey Curious ...relax dude...

Drunken'... I have read as much as I could about Curious's and others case involving Royal... From what curious has said I do not believe he is neither a shot taker nor a syndicate.... I have read a lot of curious's posts throughout the summer and it's well known he belongs to a pick service.. Ask Bateman...

That being said I don't think curious's actions qualify as fraud or any violation of the T&A... One of the main reason's that sticks out to me is he did exactly what I ask players to do.. Notify the book of your actions... He did that on many occassions and this was known by the book months ago and the book knew all the parties involved...

Royal should investigate as their terms say they can... but when they if they find nothing then curious should get paid...

This is my take on it so far...

Duuuuude! Please re-read the "P.S." part of my post. I'm with you, not against you! My point in posting that "rule" was that my buddy Shams is defending Sportsbook.com based on their (in my opinion) extremely loosely written rule, but taking your side here against Royal's vague rule - which seems, dare I say, "inconsistent".

to all, including Shams.

Curious has said he suscribes to pick services so that is pretty much a fact; if he makes more money than he spends on his picks, more power to him.

1. A handicapper has a web site, this person is a radio personality in Connecticut.
2. People go to the web site and subscribe to his service. It ain't cheap. $6,000 for a season of all sports.
3. Bet Royal made an arrangement with the handicapper a long time ago that he would send his customers to them.
4. Every day we are given the picks.
5. Each subscriber to the service at a time of their choosing and for amounts of their choosing bets according to the picks.

How can this possibly be wrong in any way shape or form? SBG knew that Bet Royal had this arrangement with the handicapper when they bought Bet Royal. The only "link" between these accounts is the referral that the handicapper was given when he sent one of his customers to Bet Royal.

Bet Royal's basic argument is that because we were betting the same plays we were somehow "defrauding" them. They are only saying this because we win so much. If we had lost do you really think this would be happening?

The V.P. of marketing at Bet Royal who had been taking care of the handicapper's customers for a long time resigned in disgust at this treatment of her customers.
man that sucks the same guy referred me, although im not a subscriber to his picks due to the fact they r to expensive for this small time gambler, but he wins no doubt. my acount was never frozen granted im nowhere near the amount of cash u mentioned ealier or the 100 bucks per star this capper uses..so im thinking its because im a little man gambler that i have no issues. i have withdrew money a few times since he went public with this and no issues what so ever. i really feel bad the guy wins a lot hes one of the best in the biz and now u guys r punished for it hope u guys win good luck to u all

I'm sorry you were robbed - I hope it turns out ok.

How do you know if a book will screw a winning player? If they have a promotion so good, you open an account for that sole reason.

SBG advertised 3-team 6-point NFL teasers at +200 at the start of this year. Any sharp will bury a book that does this; this promotion is about as ridiculous as selling off the "3" for 10 cents. While I'd bet they have other money leaks, this one problem guarantees that they will either go bankrupt, or steal from winning players.

Do your homework before sending money to these crap-books.
