Really -- have you forgotton about the Hebrew faith? The chosen people, remember???
Dark Horse, if you are in love with someone, telling others about them will have no bearing on their eternal life. The person - Jesus Christ -- I love has a direct bearing not only in this life, but for everyone's eternity.
Slight difference between your flavor of the month and Katie Holmes, compared to the Creator of the Universe ... nice try, though ...

Yup, I love the Lord with all my heart. Obviously, you've never loved a man, Arnold. The lack of a father's presence in your life, both on this earth and in heaven, is painfully obvious.

I don't think Jesus would have taken such a painful and hateful jab at a fellow man, do you?

Of course I haven't. Maybe that's 'cause I'm not a woman?
And don't you worry. I know you're not a fag, as it's impossible to love someone imaginary.

You really are hurting, Arnold. It comes through with every post you bring forth. But I guess you'd rather endure the pain than admit your Creator is all-powerful, knowing and loving. That's really too bad.

And how is that working out for you? The network marketing approach to heaven, that is.
You'll note that other world religions, with the possible exception of your 'partner in Crusades' (Islam), have no such externalized interest in converting others. And yet, they seem not to lack in numbers. I would suggest that the attempt to win souls, in this manner, has put far more people off than it has attracted.

Oh, there are enough Bible-believing Christians out there ... I never realized anyone actually thought we lacked for numbers ... speaking to people about Him works very well. Not with everyone, as there are many who are hell-bent on hell, but there's nothing that can be done about that!
Regardless, numbers aren't what it is all about. The truth of God and Jesus is. I suppose when you have a light in your living room, you usually drape a towel over it so it doesn't shine brightly. Christians don't agree with this technique, but through free will, do as you like ...

For those of you that refuse to believe in God and eternal life, isn't your life here on earth rather trivial and empty? Or is living day by day, paying the bills while you watch your body slowly decompose a motivation for you to reach new heights? To accrue as much as you can, only to have it amount to nothing and to have yourself be forgotten days after you leave the earth, with nothing more to look forward to?
No surprise why so many of you are so depressed. If this is all there is, you must feel quite shortchanged.

Moneyline, whether one believes or not, I figure you do what you can on this planet for your children's sake, no? I just want to do all I can for them while I'm here, and make their lives as enjoyable as possible. That's my driving motivation, anyway.
'Course, I realize not everybody has kids, but just coming at it from a personal viewpoint...And not looking to prolong this debate by any stretch, as I respect both your views and those opposing. Just chiming in.....

always so capable of shining a little of god's saving light on people, whether or not they happen to agree with you. If nothing else I do admire your devotion to the teachings of Christ.

Oh, to add to that Christ was certainly a great teacher, and thusfar a lackluster deity. Maybe if we had to choose one of those as his legacy, maybe it should be teacher?
just a thought.
