I have done everything in my power to be a good friend, girlfriend, sister, daughter, aunt, etc. It is not in my power at this time to travel all over the world helping the less fortunate, so I do it locally. I do what I can. That's what's important.

If you believe that, good luck. You have zero proof of it, so it is a belief. If you were interested in truth, you would try to destroy all your beliefs, because only truth can be beyond destruction. Instead, you use religion as an excuse to stop thinking. When life presents a problem you confuse finding a fitting scriptural quote with creative thought. And you believe God loves you for such idiocy.

You're probably not harming anyone with your self-hypnosis, but to hold it before others as THE WAY is as absurd as it is amusing.

Actually, I simply know God loves me. Not for what I do and not for what I accomplish ... He loves me because I am His creation and His child.

It is impressive that you fancy yourself a modern-day Dioygenes ... in search of truth (or the last honest man, for that matter) ... when life presents a problem for you, your egoistic ways take over and you believe, since you are your own alpha and omega, that you can solve it without the help of your Creator.

Funny, though, that approach won't have much pull upon death. And even funnier (not in a ha-ha way, however), that approach leaves you wanting on a day-to-day basis here on earth.

That's too bad. Seems as though you are too smart by half.

if you cant see the destruction of homes,foreclosure of homes ,in 2009 nebraska will go to the national i d card and so will all states, later they will put chips under your skin like a captured timothy mcveigh to track on gps , and you cant buy or sell [food , gas jobs] without it , l a fires ,and gay marriages , flooding, high gas prices , high food prices ,increase in violent crimes , earthquakes , rigged golf and nba games etc.. , senators sleeping with prostitutes , the euro in the u s a ,terrorism and the iraqi war everyone seems to for get about etc....... and all these catacrosphic unusal events that are getting worse mind you , if you dont notice that stuff going on now , and think you wont need a saviour named jesus christ in this sinful world , your obviously blind to the truth!!!!! accept him as lord and saviour now, your gonna be beggin for him in the future LOCK OF THE CENTURY !!!!!!!!!!

Right, I wasn't saying that I believe God created everything...just that according to those that do (and have actually read the bible) he created and gave us free will, the rest is up to us. Praying isn't going to bring our boys home or change our government.
