Any of you nuts buy a bunch of fireworks?
What are your plans? Take a day off from gambling Friday...

throw some meat on the grill, make some homemade ice cream, maybe a peach cobbler or two, and watch some fireworks and racing.

About the same, haven't checked out what games are scheduled that day. I'll try not to have any wagers pending if I can help it.

Well I'm going to try to slip out of the office early today if I can leave without someone noticing, then the kid and me are going to New Jersey to buy some good shit that explodes. Then on the 4th we are going to a giant Bar-B-Q where there will be copious amounts of alcohol and the traditional bottle rocket fights. inevitable I will end up face down in a culvert somewhere with a roman candle jammed up my... well you get the idea.

I will be right in the middle of the biggest 4th or July celebration near here. I had to take the night off work because my street will be blocked off. I'll be lucky to get in on Thursday night. Anywho, I'll be drinking all day and standing guard on my roof with my super soaker for when people start just pissing in the streets...and my yard.
Come to think of it...maybe I'll set up a lawn chair back there and charge people $10 a pop to use the downstairs bathroom.

No fireworks this year with it being so dry and the burn ban in effect. Wouldn't take much to set all of the cedar ablaze in the county. Going to see the Gourds and Band of Heathens play down near the river on Thursday night, working early Friday a.m. from the house, drink a beer or two watching the parade about 10 or so that morning, put a few racks of ribs on the grill and slow cook 'em all afternoon, get in some practice for the US Olympic snore team not long after sundown.

I'm hoping to throw my meat into the lady's grill if she's done with her monthly visit. Beyond that, food, adult beverages and wagering.
