Wow,what's a kid to do if they work after school or summer jobs at places like Mc Donald's when gas will hit $5 a gallon?By the time you figure all your work expenses,how can a kid afford to work????You certainly can't drive a few miles around town on your day off for the fun of it with your friends.Then when the kids get hooked on something affordable like computers,video games,DVD's and Ipods spending their paycheck on that stuff, everyone comes down on them for being shiftless with no work ethic.A kid can't win these days!!!!

Thats what I tell people that say, "Look at the price of gas in Europe.", I say look at the wages they make. A guy managing an auto parts store would make 60K over there, Here? Maybe 45. Gotta raise salaries, if your gonna raise gas, food, ect....
