I'm Done with WSEX
It wasn't a particularly valuable book anyway, but I've always been a fan and always said good things about them. But they completely alienated me today and I'm done with them.
I made a book-to-book xfer from Matchbook to them. After hemorrhaging funds at Matchbook for a week, I needed to move money back to MB from WSEX. I was informed that I didn't meet the (undocumented) rollover requirement. Keep in mind I'm talking about moving less than $10k and I've already wagered more than $130,000 at WSEX in the last 3 months. And I'm not talking about anything that costs them money like cashing out, I'm just moving $$ back to the book it came from a week earlier.
Even all of that ridiculousness I could forgive, but the CS rep told me that she just talked to the manager and the manager said "no". I asked to speak to the manager (10 seconds after she talked to him, BTW) and was told that the manager just left the building. Nice. Screw you too, WSEX. There are plenty of books to replace you.
Sorry for the rant. I have a big issue with being blatantly lied to by customer service.

From my understanding it's a standard 1x's rollover on the funds you transfer. Now if you met that requirement and there isn't any rules that state otherwise, then yes. I can understand your complaint.

Agree. Did you give them the same amount of action on the funds you transferred over since then? If not I can understand their position regardless of your frequent usage of them, it is standard to complete that 1X r/o.

Keep in mind that 95% of my anger is over the whole lying about the manager thing. I've been too good of a customer for too many years to be subjected to that kind of stuff.
Personally, If I ran a book and had a customer who left tons of money in his account, only cashed out once a year, and gave tons of action and this customer 1 time in 3 years needed a favor that would cost me nothing, I wouldn't jack him around.
But it's completely their right, I suppose.

I see your frustration, but I would not internalize it so much. Keep in mind these are just clerks you're speaking to, you are just a screenname to them. If you had actually spoken to someone with a bit more authority and worded things as you just did, I am sure they'd accommodate you and bend their rules so to speak, as it really does no harm.
You've probably played there longer than the clerk has worked there.

Why does WSEX even care. I am sick of hearing these same shop shops consider transfers a nuisance. If you are Olympic and Jamaica or WSEX and Matchbook, just transfer it and dont worrry about it... Why not have an automated button?
I mean seriously.
If I rolled over $130k and they would not let me transfer even if I did not rollover the new amount, I'd withdraw it on the spot.
There is something to be said for common sense - and I wont play somewhere where I can't speak to a manager. Any manager with half a brain would have transferred it.

The clerks are doing as they're told. If WSEX isn't able to provide a method for their customers to speak to someone in authority (to the point where their clerks lie about managers being out of the building) then they no longer get my recommendation or my business.
Look to BetJamaica for a shining example of how to handle customer service. Personally, they will get 100% of my recommendations from now on.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Thank you.

Well, You are right about BetJamaica or TheGreek bending over backwards to make there clients happy. However, they too have the 1x's rollover rule in place as well. Now maybe they would have handled this type of situation differently knowing the players status, but never the less... They do have that rule.

I'm pretty sure they would be reasonable with a good long-standing client.
But here's the important part, even if they didn't choose to help out, you would have the opportunity to actually talk to someone with authority AND you would not be lied to.
That means a lot to me. I don't think I'm alone.

Alright just playing devils advocate here, how do you know for sure that the manager did not really just leave the building, or go into the john etc? How are you so sure this clerk literally lied to you about his whereabouts? I know it sounds somewhat like my dog ate my h/w, but maybe he really was unavailable?

I literally asked to speak with the manager 10 seconds after the clerk supposedly talked to him. That's what made her response so laughable and offensive.

I can see WHY they wouldn't give you the transfer but they were hardly professional about it.
They owed you an explanation from a manager simply based on your past with them.
I had a payout issue with them 3 months ago and almost bailed on them too but I may give them another chance.

Just transfer enough to WSEX or Greek from Matchbook to cover one day of action. That way you've met the 1x rollover right away. The rollover is pretty much standard for books; not for exchanges.

Exchanges offer better value, but fewer betting options.
