Anyone ever get hammered where they are walking back to their car from a bar or party where to be outrageous with their buddies watching they stole something they absolutely had no use for?The statute of limitations has run out for most people doing this stuff so feel free to bring it up.

This is the season where garden trolls and lawn ornaments get stolen etc.I heard that's why the people living around Wrigley Field didn't want Wrigley to get lights and have night games a number of years back.

We have a thing called smelting on Lake Superior every year at this time where a sardine-grunion sized fish spawns by the trillions in rivers and it's just an excuse for young people to get drunk,pillage and plunder.The people owning the land bordering the rivers get tons of stuff stolen or thrown in the rivers.It's not that the kids want the stuff,they just think it's cool when their drunk to show their buddies that they have the balls to cause trouble.

I live in a summer tourist area where every fast food joint,restaurant and bait shop have fish statues,chicken statues and mice with cheese satues etc.in front of their businesses.College kids that get drunk and are fraternity pledges cut the statues at the footings to bring back to the frat houses.Usually an all points bulletin goes out through the media that the perpetrators will be dealt with harshly so the kids ditch the statue off some dirt road where someone can find it and get the heat off them.

You ever see these Virgin Mary lawn ornaments and such where someone steals them and takes them around the world sending the owner photos of their ornament.After about a year,the statue mysteriously shows up back in the owners yard.The old geezer owners have absolutely no sense of humor and are crying and calling for the perps heads.hehe!

My biggest caper was me and a buddy who was a high school football-baseball-hockey coach at the time,leaped over the fence at the Packers practice field during the middle of the night and stole a bunch of blocking pads.I can say it now because it was in the early 80's that it took place.It was training camp and the Pack was playing in the hall of fame game in Canton.Just 25 years ago there was no hoopla at all like there is now over pro sports and there were no highly sophisticated alarm systems and surveylance cameras.Those were ancient and simple times just 25 years ago.We were in shape compared to now ''hehe''and we were scared shit less and if the Packers would have had a camera,they would have signed us to a contract for running a 4.1 40 and leaping a 15 foot fence.hehe!If I did that now I would have a heart attack right on the practice field.Hell,right after doing that,we almost scaled the unattended huge wall at Lambeau Field.I had some Lombardi Avenue street signs up until recently too.hehe!
