Sorry bud, been busy with work, must've missed your original post the first time around. Unfortunately, you're pretty correct about the Peyton Manning fade. In my opinion, there's training camp for a reason, especially if you're a skill player. You had to have known the rust would kick in at some point. The timing isn't there with the offense. Small changes in the playbook were not perfected. Not to mention that Peyton is not a first half player anyways. He typically struggles in the preseason, and first 4 weeks of the regular season. So it was very easy to fade a guy that didn't take one snap during the preseason, didn't practice until August 26th, and was under a new center. Also, a small lean pushed it over the top for me. I saw that only 1 home favorite the whole day lost. In the beginning of the season, things are more irregular, and the linesmakers tend to get exploited. So, all in all, after doing decent for the week, I took a gamble on the ML doggie in the putrid Bears, with Kyle Orton, who's 13-6 as a starter under the helm.

The wind will definitely be a factor tonight, it should be a wild game. Let's hope it's low scoring, Jamal Lewis drags a few Steelers down the field for a couple TDs, and the Browns win a close one at the dog pound.
