I see you have chosen the Panthers. Would be very interested to hear your opinion on this because I am looking at them for a 10 point teaser. I saw on Sportsbook.com that slightly less than 50% of the side bets are on the Chargers which leads me to believe there is validity to your opinion. What is it I'm not seeing???? Maybe I'll substitute Dallas instead.

I completely revamped my handicapping approach and came up with a different assessment this morning. Basically I'm taking 5 picks and the rest are no-plays. With my re-analysis I still get the same plays, but some of the grades and the thresholds are different.

Here they are in no particular order: Raiders +3, Giants -3, Ravents +1, Eagles -7, Jags -3.

The next two would have been Pats -16 1/2 and Vikes +3. But my "true line" assessment would've been Pats -18 1/2 and Packers -1 1/2, still making these reasonable plays, but not good enough to make the cutoff I've established.

In reply to agg, the Panthers-Chargers game is a no-play now, so I really haven't got a good reason to go either way on this game with my new system.
