I like AZ to cover the spread, anyone else?
Thursday night...spread is currently -2. I just don't think NO's good players are going to play that long. Where as Leinart/Warner could use this as a battlefield against each other in the starting job and try and light up the stat sheet.
Your thoughts?

I'm a Saints fanatic!!!
This game WILL not touch the Under! The Saints are having a serious recieving battle and there trying to find out who will stay.Brees, Brunnel, and Palko will be throwing 60% of the time!
This play is my P.O.D OVER 36!!

Vince Young 1st TD +2000
|
they will start competing later in preseason, they will start Leinart and not put Warner behind the backup line, and the starting line will not play long

Still liking the Cardinals after this...
Head Coach Sean Payton said following practice that he will be holding numerous players out of the first preseason game, including RB Deuce McAllister, CB Mike McKenzie. S Josh Bullocks, LB Jonathan Vilma, WR Devery Henderson, TE Jeremy Shockey, WR Marques Colston, DT Brian Young and rookie CB Tracy Porter. Payton said the plan is to get the starters roughly 20 plays of action in the game on Thursday and then to rotate in the second and third team players.

LT said Under in the hall of fame game and it went way over. I don't know which way to go. Everyone seems to have the over yet the number keeps falling. It went from 37 to 35.

Under is just barely playable at 35, but I passed. No way I play Over with a total this high in Week 1 of preseason. All Week 1 preseason games since 2000 (8 seasons) have averaged a shade over 34 points.

Actually I had no official play in the HOF game, I said I leaned to the Under. Same thing here, although much less of a lean at 35. My official plays are in my thread.

The Saints game will go Over 36! The Saints are in a reciever battle and Sean Payton loves to pass the ball. He will give these recivers plenty of chances to make plays. Also Brunell is the backup QB who will be throwing passes to the same guys who starting at WR! Take the Over 36 ! Predicted score N.O 24- Arizona 20

Found better forum, just here for points
|
Does the fact that Señor Whisenhunt didn't coach the Cardinals to win a single preseason game last year? And that was his first year, when I expected him to go at least 2-2 just to prove his scheme to the Bidwells. I think the talent on the field for Arizona will be superior, but will it matter if they've been told in the locker room that they shouldn't care whether they win or lose?
