Unfortunately doesn't appear to be much interest in the CFL within this particular sports forum Betplom.

Scully, there are a few diehard CFL cappers that you'll see in the forum.
I'm sure it will pick up once the season starts.
I remember seeing Checkerboard, Zootiehead, Bigboydan, moses millsap, Hulu, Eaglesphan36, Crayzee, BigBollocks, Colt29, gummo, Cobra King and others here last season as regulars.
Although it was a small group, it worked out well as there was none of the BS that you get in the main forum here in the CFL threads.

First week is pretty tough to gauge. Only play I probably will make (light) is the OVER for BC/Calgary at 55.5. I think Calgary will score alot and give up alot.

If i play, i believe it will be on Hamilton over Montreal. I believe Montreal is going to take a big step back this year and Hamilton some small steps forward. There might be some value early in the season playing the Cats and against Montreal.
The other one i'm looking at is the Riders over Edmonton. That line looks cheap even with the uncertainty with the QB situation in Sask. Week one though is always tough to figure.

I'm leaning to Hamilton -1 myself. For the reasons you mentioned and because Ti-Cats have something to prove this year.
They absolutely need a win if they want anyone to show up for their remaining games at Ivor Wynne, how much losing can their fans take?
Lumsden was impressive last season playing hurt, imagine the impact he'll have now that he's healthy.
I also agree that Montreal has regressed and is a team in decline, Ti-Cats can only get better.

I’m probably going to lay off week 1, and maybe week 2 to get a feel for things without having my judgement clouded. Best of luck to everyone this week.

Final selection for me: OVER (54.5) for BC-CAL. Think it'll be close, maybe a push even.

Will Casey Printers have a huge season this year? He should be comfortable with the system, and he is the prototypical CFL qb. Him and Lumsden in the back field look like a dynamic combination.

I'm playing Hamilton -2. Should that cash, I'll make a play on the late game.

Played the Cats
Going to watch the line in the late game, if Calgary continues to climb i might make a play, otherwise wait until tommorow. Have a lean right now to Wpg at home over the Argos.
Saturday's play already made, took the cheap price (in my opinion) on Sask.

I thought they would have fixed the penalty problems that hampered them last year.
Looks like nothing has changed.
Officiating could use alot of improvement, I had the over 44.5 and Hamilton clearly stripped the ball from MTL inside the 10 yd line late in the 4th. That would have given me 3 chances at cashing the over.
