Play underdogs when the public is on the favorite. 55% were on TB. This means the sucker bet was actually TB. Congrats to G-men backers. I passed on both games today.
I like fading the public when the percentages are a little higher than 55% but it usually holds true regardless.
When the public is on the favorite 70% , I say FADE that! Play pups and make bucks.

Did you fade San Diego, Seattle, and Jacksonville too when they opened? If so, you had an ultra tough weekend.
Two sportsbooks, a buddy working at a book in Vegas, Wagerline, and Covers all had NYG as the "public" choice, most at 55% or more. You're not going to get much respect by going into veteran's threads and posting beginners' systems that go roughly 50% longterm, but to each their own. It's like saying you should have played the Giants because you have a brother named Eli, and the QB for the Giants is named Eli.
For what it's worth the Giants were the play not because of whatever system or touting method someone sold you, but because they were the better team (getting points at that). Cheers to anyone who handicapped the game for real money and won...
