with all these new first time coaches in the NFL next season. i'm wonder if the totals might be worth taking a closer look at.

Should be great for preseason as well. First time coaches want to win in meaningless games.

I dont either, but I think it was Clip Joint that ran a preseason long thread on betting the underdog ML in every game this season. It came out with a profit. So that could be something to look at next season as well.

I also like preseason games. If you get the Gold Sheet magazine next year it'll show the record of the various coaches in preseason for the last 5 years.

I also agree that new coaches take preseason more seriously. If you have a new coach combined with a losing season last year fans want to see some hope and a reason to go to the regular season games. I wouldn't be surprised if orders came from above to win these games.

It's hard enough picking sides let alone totals. I have never touched them either.
