Default Would like your thoughts on this teaser..

Steelers -1½
Vikings -½

Odds +100

Steelers need this game for the division and the Rams are simply horrible. Have concerns with the Steelers on the road but the Rams are bad enough to offset that. Steelers defense still #1 in the league.. They will be hungry considering they lost two in a row and the division is on the line and they really don't want to play on the road in the playoffs. Steelers lost to Pats and Jags so it should be a breath of fresh air to play the struggling and done for the season Rams..

Vikings are playing very good right now they've won five in a row and four straight at home. They need this game for playoff purposes and Washington fits right into their scheme considering they don't pass the ball well. I've watched a lot of these Vikings games and I really like what they are doing. I like Tavaris Jackson's mobilty it really opens up the offense. They have a great offensive and defensive line too.

Would like your thoughts before I wager on this, so I can decide how much I'm going to put on this.. Thanks a lot in advance and good luck this week..

Colts are banged up and don't have much to play for. I have them already on a teaser. I wouldn't be shocked if the 49ers won..

I considered doing this one, what stopped me was Minnesota being -6.5 at the time, I'd have preferred them to be closer to -7.5 to tease, that and I had a suspicion that people may be a little gunshy on the Vikes after them not covering last week... Dropped to -6 now, it may develop into an excellent play straight up so I'm waiting to see the movement closer to Sunday..

For what it's worth I have the Steelers in a tease with the Titans, playing at home against the Jets teased to -2.5, and in a tease with the Cardinals down to -2.5 against the Falcons. Good luck whichever way you end up betting it, I certainly like Minnesota this week myself..

I'm very surprised the Redskins are getting 6.5 points. I had this line around 3 to 4.

imgv,

I am kind of surprised you aren't taking the Redskins in that teaser taking double digit points, the Vikings may have a hard time since they are coming off a big Monday Night win and I don't think they will win by more than 10 anyways.

HA ! I placed this bet the second the spread dropped from -9 to -7 for colts. Took 6.5 pt teaser (Colts -0.5 with Bucs -0.5)
Looked liked the most solid teaser to me. Two very strong teams against 2 teams in the bottom 10.

As far as your teaser is concerned imgv, i think it looks good at first, but the more i think about it, seems like dogs could actually upset. NOT LIKELY, but stranger things have happened. Vikings got smashed by GB and you are certainly aware of the Steelers ability to blow games they were favored in.

Bottom line , if you are going to bet this one , probably best to not make it your biggest play or your only play. GL either way.

surprised at the line. I have the line at WASH -4 and I would take the moneyline but if your a little unsure tease the line to double digits. That Monday nighter looked like a high school game and the Vikes looked horrible even though they won. My reeling Rams will lose once again so the -2.5 PITT portion of that teaser is a good one. Good Luck!

The Redskins have the defensive scheme and personel to make it difficult for the vikings to run the ball the way they have with other teams. I woul not be suprised to see the Skins win this game.

On paper it looks great. I think Pitts is pretty safe, but I think there has to be more value elsewhere than on the Vikes/Skins game. That game could go both ways. Maybe the Skins have a 45% chance - I like the pick - but I'd rather get my money in elsewhere. Also, I think that line favors the Skins, slightly, without the teased points.

Don't the Vikings have the defensive scheme and personel to make it difficult for the Redskins? Vikings have the #1 rush defense in all of football. Their @ Home where they have won 4 straight.

Vikings are playing great football right now winning five straight. I think you guys are underestimating them.

Teasing from -6.5 down to -.5 is really bad. There's either plenty of value as is at -6.5 or not enough value at -.5

Exactly. They matchup good against each other. I think it goes with a FG either way.
