Betting against the Oakland Raiders in last four games. Schedule is tough and IMO they lose the rest of their games.

Sun 12/30 San Diego 4:15 pm



Keep in mind these are estimates...

$200 on GB ML @ -500 to win $40

$240 on IND ML @ approx -500 to win $48

$288 on Jack ML @ approx -450 to win $68

$352 on SD ML @ approx -400 to win $ 78


Profit= approx $230

Could be more or less.. Anyone think this is a good idea?

Beware the final game at home vs Chargers. San Diego will likely have its division won and its playoff spot cemented (#4 seed). If so, expect the Chargers to rest its key players, giving Oakland a shot at a mercy win.

I would worried about the San Diego game too because San Diego may rest their players but the other three is probably pretty solid though, I would do a three teamer doing that.

I'm confused. obviously they'll be dogs in their last 4 games, but your decision should be whether or not -500 or whatever is a good price to be betting against them. Just blindly fading them because you think they'll probably lose sounds like a losing propositiion.

I'm borrowing a quote, from onlooker i think, 'why risk so much to gain so little' just lose one and your in the hole. If you feel that confident about all 4 why not load up on first one and when you win it then not much risk on last 3??

Risking $200 only. I lost a $100 with SF and you guys saw how that money was taken away from me with Rackers making the FG and then the refs calling a penalty.


I am thinking twice about the last game versus the Chargers though, they might be resting starters. '

So far I like them this week +10.5 vs Green Bay. I will have to monitor the trend betting but right now it looks like on of my strong plays.

I would consider stopping after the Jacksonville game because the Chargers are going to be resting their players for the playoffs.

Jax can only play Indy in the divisional round if they're the 6 seed. At this point, that seems unlikely, and they'll probably be the 5 seed. If they do meet Indy again, it will more than likely be in the AFC championship.

I'd be shocked if they came with in 2 touchdowns of any of the teams they have left, unless they start sitting starters for the playoffs

They are going to lose tomorrow.. They might be able to beat SD if the Chargers play a bunch of scrubs.

I just don't see this as a good bet, I mean your logic is fine its just you don't get that good of a payoff. If you were betting 200 to win 500 i'd say you read between the lines but for only 240? The other problem is teams are going to rest their starters. And finally the Raiders cheat at home, thats never good. Look at the raiders record they do defend ok at home. I mean as an away team would you want to go play against pimps and thieves?? and thats just the fans!!

I know you want to run the gauntlet and say see I told you, but they're far better bets out there.

No you're right this didn't turn out to be a great bet even thought it's showing profit.

-152 for a 3 game wager is no good I agree.
