Big Ben throws touchdown. It was clearly a touchdown, replayed maybe twice, they are getting set to kick the point after, and intending to challenge Romeo CALLS a timeout, then throws the flag. All with 3 mins and change on clock.

If you are unsure about the play, even though the replay gave your people upstairs no reason to be, just throw the flag and gamble with one timeout. He ended up losing two time outs with one play.

Some (most???!!!) coaches have zero common sense. There should be a coach on all teams whose sole responsibility is to be a quick smart thinker for siutational football at the end of games. These coaches can't think straight at the end of games.

Tomlin did a similarly stupid thing in the 4th quarter after Cleveland returned the kick for a TD. He threw the flag before he saw the replay. The guy was clearly inbounds and his staff upstairs would have told him that if he just waited a few seconds. Instead, he wastes a challenge and loses a timeout.
