Sticker Machine Picks Thread..
There is a sticker machine at the Grocery Store by where I live and I thought I'd get a sticker and play the side of whatever sticker comes out.
I'm going to do this every week.
This week the sticker that came out of the machine was that of the Oakland Raiders
Raiders -3 +103
Let's see how this goes, just for kicks.

This is great bud! I wish I could find a sticker machine and do the same thing... I might have to scout one out @ a local grocery or somethin! Sounds like a fun idea! It would be kinda crazy if you hit like 6 or 7 out of 10 somehow! Best of luck with this! I always am up for trying new things!

Good thing you didn't get a team on a BYE this week. Or you would have to buy another.
Good thing this is the last week of BYE's. 
I haven't seen one of those sticker machines in a long time, then again I haven't really looked either. |

I used to get those stickers all the time from those machines. Used to get the small helmets too.
I think this can go 6-4 or something. I'd take that.

When you mentioned in your NFL picks thread, that you had ideas to turn the corner this year and get above .500 was this part of the plan?

This has nothing to do with that. This is a seperate thing all together.
Win or Lose I won't be counting this on my record cause I won't be playing these games for much. Just a fun little experiment is all.
My plan to get back to even units in the NFL involves increased unit size and the fact that I have fared well in the past during weeks 10-14.

LOL, you're going to have to factor in the "business" expenses with the vig so you might have to lay a little more wood on the game. Great idea, keep us posted on how it goes. As bad as I have been in the NFL this year, I might have to try it.

FYI these stickers cost .50 cents. I've seen some places charge a dollar for the same stickers. |

Since you started this thread, I really have had the urge to try the same thing... Its kind of a cool idea... Well, I had kind of forgot about it, but today I was on the way to the riverboat and stopped to get gas... Just as I was walking out of the bathroom, what is that I spot just to the side! AN NFL STICKER MACHINE! I was like a kid in a candy store!
I pulled the Cincinnati BenGALS! Wasn't too thrilled about this one, but they are due for a win... I'm playing the Bengals +4 this Sunday @ Baltimore! See if Cincy can get some offense going! I really hope that your Lions play wins because I will have a couple units on the Lions ML by gametime!
