Default Philadelphia @ Minnesota

I just noticed this line is now at Philly(-1) at Pinny. Am I going crazy or was this line not like Philly -5 just a day or two ago? What the hell is happening there? Are they in love with Holcomb and now feel that he's going to start? Anyone with info here?

You're going crazy, it's been Philly -1, PK or +1 all week

I'm laying off this one. Too many questions I don't have answer to. We still don't know the starter, and we still don't know how incompetent Childress is. I can see Peterson and Taylor doing a lot of damage. Not to mention Philly has been inconsistent this year, especially the play of McNabb. If he's not chucking grounders every second snap they'll be fine offensively, but if he is...

Ya I don't know that Philly will even win the game at all. I like Philly ok, but they are having a tuff season so far IMO. That and Minn isn't that bad.

I am a philly fan, and I don't think they will win. Their D-line still isn't good against the rush (THomas Jones anyone?). They should be able to wear the D out with the PUrple Jesus. Mcnabb vs the Vikings secondary is a great match up for the Eagles, but Mcnabb has been inconsistant and the Vikes are at home

I have nothing on the side, and the OVER 37.5 will be my only NFL play this week. Looking for this number to drop some more before I bet it.

The over is interesting for sure. But once again, I think it depends too much on question marks for me. If good McNabb shows up, and the Vikings use their running game properly, the over is definitely a good bet, but I just don't know if those two things will happen.

Philly will pass all day long on the pathetic Vi-Queen pass defense. Minny's best chance is to run AP as much as possible but with Childress the Idiot, that won't happen. Eagles by 7.

Funniest/Greatest thing I have ever heard.

There is one factor that determines the outcome of the game. How many times does Adrian "Purple Jesus" Peterson touch the ball. Childress is a terrible coach and throws games away. Peterson had the ball 12 times in the DAL game. The kid single handedly destroys Chicago and gets the ball 12 times the next week?????? If Peterson has 25 carries he will score 2-3 TDs and the Vikes win. If he splits with Taylor, Philly will steal a 17-14 win.

I'm an Eagles fan but I'm on them this week without being biased. I'm not going to say they win by 2 touchdowns but I think they will win the game. Drop 8 in the box and focus on stopping AP, if Holcomb beats them then he beats them. It's not like the Eagles have been bad against the run, allowing 3.7 ypc (8th in the NFL). Minny's D can be had thru the air and LJ Smith should be playing tomorrow and hopefully that bolsters their dreadful redzone O as Donovan likes to go to his TE (note the only TD last week being to Schobel).

20-10, Eagles.

Good analysis, Man.

I'm a Packer fan in Vikings territory, so I get nothing but Vikings updates on the local news. Sickening, I know. But, I know this team pretty well. I think they are ready to beat a team like Philly. Childress has been leaving a lot to be desired as far as coaching, but maybe there's a method to his madness. Childress might have something to prove with his old team coming to town and might have a unique plan to beat them.

There's no denying that AP will get his fantasy numbers. Hopefully Childress will let this dog loose a little more this week. Not that Chester is bad, he's doing fine in relief, but leave him to the reliever role and let AP's spark ignite the team.

Holcomb has some talent & ability. I question his heart. He just doesn't look like he wants to be out there. I almost want to say that he would prefer holding a clipboard on the sidelines. Maybe with a few games under his belt as a Viking, the butterflies will be gone and Holcomb will emerge as a leader.

Obviously, I'm hoping the Vikings implode, as a Packer's fan. But my money is riding on the Vikings this weekend and I think they can get it done with Philly coming to town in a "passing of the guard" type of NFC matchup. This week is the first week I've got money riding on the Vikings. I hope they don't mess it up. haha

Default Eagles at Vikings

IF the eagles had won last weekend vs the Bears, the public would be betting on the eagles. just because they lost last week, now everyone is taking the Vikings. Philadelphia is incosistent and will prove it in winning this game. Have to realize they are finally getting healthy. IF they had won last week, they would be going for a three in a row. If I personally bet on the Vikings, I would be more afraid that they will lose this game. I would be afraid to bet against a team that was totally inconsistent last week. There is a reason why the eagles are favored in this game by one point. THey are inconisstent week to week and shall win this by score of 20-10. The Vikings are no better than the eagles and have only beaten the pathetic falcons and the banged up bears. THis is really a must win for the eagles and the Vikings really do not know how to win.

The vikings defense is really not that bad. Well at least fantasy wise it is not. They have forced turnovers every game this yr so far. I see them jumping a few routes and inside the dome is LOUD.I see inconsistant McNabb having a bad day calling audibles where it will be LOUD!
