Default I can't believe I'm gonna lay this much wood

I found this prop offering at TheGreek tonight, and I took "No" for the $200 max bet.

Code:
Will T Brady Break NFL passing TD record of 49

601 Yes +200
602 No -240
Thoughts are welcome

Needs 28 in 10 games - almost 3 TD passes per game. Thats a tough pace to keep up, even for someone as hot as Brady. Good call - Good luck!

I'm not banking on him getting injured at all, but I'd sure like to see it as bad as that might sound.

If he has one game where he throws no TDs this bet will probably win.

He is on pace to, and has the weapons to do it. I certainly wouldn't bet against Tom Brady in his prime, this very well could be his greatest season ever.

Brady will sit the last couple of weeks after they have everything locked up. Good bet!

I like that bet also because an injury could happen or they could pull in the last few games early. I like your bet, I wouldn't be the house on it though but I do think you bet good on that one.

If they beat the Colts and Steelers, they have Miami(x2)\Washingon\Buffalo\Philly\Raven s\Jets\NYG left. There is a very real shot they go down the stretch undefeated, if that is the case I have no doubt the starters will be in until a comfortable lead is secured. Belichick wouldn't let that slip away just to rest players, he will care about it.

The max is only $200 unfortunately, otherwise I would have ended up tying up $2,400 till the end of the year.

It's a good bet, Dan. There are too many incidentals which will throw him off course. Many are already mentioned, such as injuries & clinching early. I'll also add that they'll be protecting leads more often with the run game much more often than they'll be throwing to come from behind.

Amazingly, Brady will be a victim of his own success. The Patriots will be such a juggernaut that he won't need 50 TD passes or anywhere near that to put this team in the #1 playoff slot.

Not a chance in hell he'll break it... When and if they clintch early I would think he sits for meaningless games or at the very least not play the whole game... If they don't clintch early that means it's likely his pace slowed down... With these two and the fact he might get hurt leads me to think... "THERE IS NO F*CKIN' WAY HE THROWS 50"..

... In the first half. Dan your $200 donation I am sure was greatly appreciated. Unless Brady gets hurt, I don't see how he doesn't crush that record. I think Belechick is gonna make a point of getting Brady that record just like he might make a point to score 70 against Miami today.

agreed....this record is broken unless brady gets hurt

i can't remember whether it was moss or who but one of the patriots said we'll see how good brady is as far as stats now that he has good receivers. i think that was kind of a shot at mr stats manning. i think they are making it a team goal to breat mannings record. i'm sure the odds are going to be much different after today.

I wonder what the updated odds will be after his TD frenzy down in Miami today.

I love it. I have brady on all my fantasy football teams. They pull him for cassell who throws a pick for a TD and then they bring in brady again for another td. If anyone says oh it is the line and the receivers and not brady all they had to see is the patheticness of Cassell and the ease at which brady sits in there and throws strikes

Todays monster game he had doesn't rattle me at all guys. The Pats will have that division clinched by week 12 or 13, and they will bench Brady so he don't hurt that shoulder anymore than their claiming.

The home field advantage is what they are playing for Dan not the division. You really think they will clinch that with 2 to 3 games left ?

Nice call on this one sir! You just throw 6 out from the middle of no where and he does it! Haha! I absolutely fvcking hate Brady... I'm not gonna wish an injury upon him because I don't want anyone to get hurt... Fine is he breaks Manning's record, Peyton doesn't give a shvt... Manning will be laughing when he is the one holding the Lombardi in Zona and Brady is at home with the record watching on his couch! BET THAT!

Dan, I hope "The Eraser" Bob Sanders and company on the Colts defense can put a hurtin on Tommy Boy for ya! 23 more in 9 games though??? I would lean towards sayin he will break it unless he gets hurt or they sit him... If he plays all 16 games, then I say he breaks it! Good Luck with it though bud!

Well at the moment i would slightly favor the "Yes" here, i think you paid way too much for "No"..chances are good that he will break it.
