Question Who wins the NFC South?

Saints? Um No way..

Bucs? Just lost both RBs, Um No.

Panthers? Haven't looked good, QB situation shaky, UM No.

Falcons? They won't win. NO.

Oh Shit, there are no more teams.

Yeah I though about this one quite a bit.
Maybe it comes down to whoever can get 7 wins.
7-9 team in playoffs this year?

Hey would you root for the 7-9 team to win in the playoffs too?

I know I'd love to see a 7-9 team win it all

I still think CAROLINA is decent, and all you need to be is decent to win this division. At least David Carr has some experience, so it is not as if the Panthers have a rookie backup QB.

I think the Bucs win it with a 8-8 record because these teams do play each other twice and they do play some weak teams like the NFC West teams.

I agree with the Bucs winning. But don't completely rule out the Panthers.

u have to give it to the Bucs, they have looked pretty good in their games compared to the other who have looked horrible in all their games. except carolina, they have had a few moments. The real question is, what happened to the Saints?

GV,

I have to agree with ya here bro... Even though the Bucs lost Cadillac and Pittman, I believe that their defense can atleast get them to atleast a 5-6 record in their last 8 which would put them @ 8-8... I think they will actually finish 9-7 if they can take care of homefield and take one or two on the road... The Panthers are fvcked with Carr @ the helm! I can't wait till my Ponies play them 2 weeks from Sunday! Freeney absolutely owns Carr and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe has his most sacks of any QB against Carr! Bucs win this division though guys! 8-8 or 9-7 They will have Pittman back towards the end of the season as well...

Its hard for me to think anybody but the Saints but they suck. They should just eliminate the division and take another team from the AFC.

That division is a joke, there's somebody new with a chance to own it every season.

No team has ever repeated as division champs in the South

No team since it's inception has had back to back winning seasons.

Worst to first has happened every year in the NFC South. Whoever comes in 4th wins it the following year.

2002 - 1st place Bucs, 4th place Panthers
2003 - 1st place Panthers, 4th place Falcons
2004 - 1st place Falcons, 4th place Bucs
2005 - 1st place Bucs, 4th place Saints
2006 - 1st place Saints, 4th place Bucs

Plus, the division has been represented in the NFC Championship since it's inception.

I would have to go with the Buccaneers. I don't see the Panthers doing anything with Carr or Testaverde at quarterback. The Saints are back to the Aints, and the Falcons aren't going anywhere.

The Bucs will win it. Don't be surprised if Ricky Williams ends up there.

ws you might be right because they badly need a running back and if he gets reinstated he just might wind up in Tampa, they will win it if they get Ricky Williams, because anything running back right now would be better than what they have.

I think it's between the Buc and the Saints. Neither has a particualrly tough schedule down the stretch - but the easier of the two belongs to the Bucs.

Bucs @ San Fran., vs. Panthers

Saints vs. Philly, at Chicago.

OK, trends are retarded, but even this is pretty interesting. Bet the house on the Falcons next year!

I, too, think it's between the team that has already clinched and another team.

Looks like we WIN GV! Wish I would have put money on the Bucs... It was quite clear that they were the dominant team in this division this year... Yeah, the Saints are coming on here at the end, but too little too late to win the division... I think the Saints get in on the wild card!

I will absolutely shvt if the Bucs make the NFC Championship game! Guess it wouldn't be that far fetched with the way the Cowboys played yesterday! There is no frickin way the Falcons will win the division next year! My guess is they will probably pick Brian Brohm with their 1st pick, but will they play him right off the bat? No way the Falcons win it next year... The Bucs/Saints should only improve, IMO...
