Making Bold prediction for SUPERBOWL 42
Green Bay Packers will be in it..
NFC is weak and the NFL wants no more then to have Favre in it.
Packers went 8-8 this season and I'm expecting a down year for the Bears, the Vikings and Lions are complete shiit so the Packers winning the division isn't too crazy...
If the Packers can pick up a few players this off season and Favre gets the Pass INT calls it's not too crazy to fathom seeing the Packers in the Superbowl..
Packers currently at +6550 to win Superbowl.. Not bad IMO..

A bold and crazy prediction indeed IMG.

NFL will make sure the Packers are a good team next season(FAVRES last season). Referres will get memos saying give Packers most of the calls.
Green Bay could of easily made it to the playoffs this season, they got completely screwed in the Vikings game or they would of made it.
NFC is a very weak conference as well..
They play in weak division, weak conference,Favre's last season,Packers
8-8 this season so it's not crazy to fathom them getting into the playoffs next season..
If they can pick up a solid free agent or two and have a solid draft why not the Packers?

Your bet for the Yankees getting over 106 wins last season is probably more likely to cash.

Too bad you never make any predictions on here so people can remind you of them if they don't come true..

Favres a great QB but I think hes stayed around to long. He's one good hit away from retirement. I hope your right it would be a great feel good story but I dont think he'll make it through the season. I like the Saints Seahawks Patriots Colts Bears and Rams.

Nothing bold about that. Anyone who looks up and down the rosters of the teams in the NFC teams and doesn't consider the Packers a legitimate threat to get to the Super Bowl really doesn't understand football.

It be interesting to see who the Chargers bring in for their Offense cordinator. If Marty takes over the offense I can guarantee you the Chargers will lose in the playoffs like usual (Martyball). Not to mention their tough schedule this year. I can see them missing the playoffs by a game just like two years ago when they blamed it on their tough schedule.
The Chargers have the Bears, Colts, Ravens at home this year.

I would think that taking a shot at the Packers would be a better value than taking a shot with, say, the Buffalo Bills strictly because of conference affiliation.
Unless things change dramatically this offseason, the NFC is just so BLAH. Ya never know, I may start talking up the Arizona Cardinals again next August just like I did last August. Denny Green just kept leading me down the Primrose Path and I believed. Lord have mercy, did I believe!!!!!! Now that they have a new coach, I think I still believe.

GB making it to the SB is very possible, but beating the AFC rep isn't likely. You mentioned 65-1 odds on GB to win it all. That would make GB around 25 or 30-1 for NFC. Now that would be a great bet!

A rematch in both college and pro of 11 years ago can happen...
Ohio State/Arizona State
Green Bay/New England

I got to say, at 9-1, soon to be 9-2, that bet looks good.
But...
Still 6 games left in the regular season, and playoffs.
I hope you hit your +6550, but long way away still.

that's one hell of a prediction.
most of us didn't even expect green bay to win 9+ games. i figured they'd go 7-9.
The only real threat to them is Dallas, they'd need to get at Romo and rely on Favre's advantage experience wise.

Think about what kind of story it would be..
Unstoppable record breaking New England Pats vs Old Man Favre an the Packers. What a great storyline that would be. I think we are going to see it guys

Patriots vs Packers would be awesome. I also think that's a game that the Patriots would shove it up Green Bay's ass.
35-14
more of a beating without any referee's keeping it respectable. i'd be all over New England in that one.
