Sam I feel your pain, I was right behind you in line getting ready to get paid on this parlay.
These games were classic examples of how you can measure physical talents and match-ups and get it totally wrong when it comes to the second season, i.e. playoffs.
I'm just in a daze that Seattle managed to lose this game. I think it goes back to last Super Bowl, when they were the better team, but Steelers made the big plays and managed to win. Seattle played in the SB like a boxer who outpunches his opponent round after round, then gets caught flush on his jaw. Memories of that tough defeat still fresh, I believed this motivation (that Seattle should be SB champs) was going to motivate them throughout the playoffs, and should compensate for their defensive injuries. But they are just a cut below championship level, darn it, and just couldn't hold on to their late lead, ouch, 13-1 odds ouch.
In the other game, the lesser talented more experienced team, managed to get by the boneheaded (do you really have to pick that ball off on a 4th down pass????) team, truly not a shocker when it is playoff time, it's a whole other level.
Darn, darn, double and triple darn, we should be buying drinks for everyone at this forum right now Sam.
