Default Bobby Patrino heading to Atlanta

Louisville Cardinals head coach Bobby Patrino is leaving the college ranks to become the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Patrino signed a five year contract worth $24 million.

I can understand the move because of the money, but if Brohm stays @ Louisville, which I would consider highly unlikely now that Patrino is gone they have a great shot at winning the national title next year... Patrino is gonna have to put up with MICHAEL DICK and his medioker passing game... Hope he has fun with this team that will never be a contender with DICK @ QB... Nice choice Bob! I'm sure UL fans are soo pissed... If Brohm comes back though I say they have a decent shot at the title next year with a lot of guys coming back!

Does this guy have any NFL experience? Sounds like another bad move by the Falcons owner to move this quickly.

What happens when he goes 7-9 and some college team comes calling with an offer?

This guy coaches a lot like Steve Spurrier, and we saw he good he did in the NFL.

Bad move from a career standpoint, but a great move from a pocketbook standpoint.

Heres your next Nick Saban guys.

I'd be shocked if he's there five years. See you at Tennessee in 2010 Bobby.
