Default NFL should adopt college rules

Just curious as to what you guys think?? Should the NFL adopt College rules.
1. clock starts of change of possesion.
2. same o.t. format (texas shoot out) after 2 ots teams must go for 2 pts.
3. clock stops after 1st downs.

No way. I love college football, but, if anything, I'd switch the college rules to the NFL rules. I do think both teams should be guaranteed a possession in OT, but getting the ball at the 25 is BS.
The NFL should adopt the rule of not stopping the clock on a sack.

Love the OT format in college. Much more exciting than the pros.

College should adopt NFL rules:

1) Clock on change of possesion
2) Challenges. Reviewing what seems like every other play defeats efforts to shorten games.

NFL should adopt college rules on OT, but modified as Razz suggests. Maybe:
1) have OT receiving team kickoff in event they score on opening possession?
2) set up like college but make each start on the 50? Their 40?
3) Timed period like hoops?

I agree 100%. The OT shootout is a nice format but with the superior kickers at the NFL level, the offenses should have to start outside field goal range and have to get at least one first down to get into range. I think the 45 would be a good starting point. That would ensure teams have an equal chance but they would still have to display at least some offense to win.

The CFL adopted the OT shootout a few years back and for the most part it has worked well except the teams still start inside field goal range which can make the game go too long as the teams trade field goals in OT.

Yeah, I like the idea of starting around midfield in OT.

I think the both feet in bounds for college will give them more skills. I vote for 2 feet instead of one.

I HATE HATE HATE the new clock rules for college football this year. It is just retarded the clock runs on change of posessions.

As for OT, I'd like the NFL adopt something similiar to college football where each team gets a shot. I do like that much better in college ball. As a coin flip (sometimes) can decide an OT in NFL which is just wrong.

I also hate the college clock rule. I am with everybody else and think both NFL teams should have a possession in ot. I also the the midfield idea.

I wish the college rule they would change the most is when the player goes down untouch, he is down. I think they should beable to get up just like in the NFL.

I also think the NFL should do a OT format like college.
