Raiders +11
I can't say enough about this spread. This is crazy. The total is 40 as well. Raiders should be bigger dogs. I could see the Bengals making an early mistake and getting in the hole.
I like the Raiders. A 10 point victory is a comfortable win for the Bengals and I think it lands right there.
Thoughts?

Im usually over the raiders when they are getting double digit points, and they did very well for me. However, Cinci should roll right over them. 31-10

I just can't back the Raiders in this game myself. Now that Cincy seems to have gotten there swagger back and are a focus team once again, I feel they could steam roll'um in this one.

Razz,
Everyone says the Raiders have packed it in for the season, but if that was so true then this line is way off. Hell it is way off...the Raiders may give the Bengals a scare.
Cincy has been playing way too well lately. They really are not that good. It must be time for a letdown.

Raiders D is really good(especially on the pass). Their offense still blows, and I won't be betting either side in this game.

I mean, this is a team that held the Texans to negative net passing yards last week. If they can hold the Bengals to any reasonable number, they can win this game easily.
Raiders aren't packing it in for the season, IMO. They could have easily won at SD two weeks ago - lost by 7 because of a disputable call. Brooks has the offense playing better. Any time I can get 11 with a team that has given up 13, 9, 13, 16, 17, 17, 21, and 23 points(half of which were created by the offense) its last eight games, I'm going to be interested.
If Brooks doesn't turn it over, the Raiders can win. If he only turns it over once or twice, they can cover. I'm not sure how willing I am to bet that he doesn't turn it over 3+ times.

Also, the Raiders last four road games were at four very good teams - Denver, Seattle, Kansas City, San Diego - and they gave up under 17.0 ppg. Pretty strong.

Great points made about Oak Def. In light of Cincy's late Def improvements beginning to think Under is the play.

I picked Cincy in this one, but sumthin' is telling me the Raiders may pull the upset. Cincy is inconsistant and Oakland has a good AFC North record this season

I agree with BBD. They might get the cover; but I highly doubt that they can win the game straight up. I got Cincy in a teaser at -.5 right now.

Not touching this game either way. But it would be hard not to take them points. Raiders have a decent defense, but their offense is horrible.

oakland has a tight D, but their offense is by far the worst in the leauge. You would have a better chance of seeing oaklands D score. gun to my head and forced to pick i take cinncy. As an alternative i recommend Kc -2.5 they have an 18 home win streak in the month of december good luck to you

Still alive...Aaron Brooks hasn't done much, but he still looks a lot better than the last time I watched him. I guess the Under would have been a great play for this game. I don't think more than 2 more touchdown will be scored in this game. And, that leaves 1 TD and 1 FG to spare dammit. Maybe halftime.

This was a tough game to cap IMO, I ended up staying away from it and then CIN covers and I'm like why didn't I just take
CIN, it would have been so easy, so square . . . hindsight . . .

As a hardcore OAK fan this is hard for me but.......& they did cover teaser points for me.......& I still don't give a F$#%!
FORGET ABOUT THE OAK "OVERATED DEFENSE", & stay as far away from taking this teams points as you can. A F@#$ing waste of football time this team is this year. Art Shell couldn't lead a bunch of "lemmings" off a cliff!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Coach & a bunch of talent swirling around the rim of a toilet bowl all season!!!

Yeah Doc, I just about came unglued like never before watching them play "pop warner" level football.....AGAIN! The only bright spot on that team right now is Lechler....the rest of the team could easily take tackling lessons from him too.....someone pull the chain & we'll be back next year.....hopefully with a full team of players that have some pride in wearing the "silver & black".
