I know the Steelers aren't as bad as they played in Oakland; as Rothleisberger lost the game for them there. But Denver's defense is going to stop the run game; and I don't see Ben having an awesome passing game against them. Denver scored a few more points last week, but still doesn't have a great offfense--but they have the tools. Steelers are at home. What sells you on the Steelers?

Steelers are playing for their season in this game imo. Very close. Steelers defense should stuff the Broncos offense, but the Bronco defense could profit from some of the turnovers this team is giving up.

My thoughts are that the Steelers knew they had to win last week against the Raiders; and they didn't do that. To me, their must-win games started in Oakland. I think if Charlie Batch starts or it's stated that Ben has a short leash, it would be a great game. But I've read that Pitt rb Charlie Parker? hasn't been consistent; and the Denver D will be tough to pass on if Ben is forced to. I think Pittsburgh is too far down in a hole; and they know it.

Good luck on this one, after Ben's last outing I think he's still got some cobwebs to shake loose.

AC, I won't do the total with the side, you can, but I won't.
I don't fare well when I side and total the same game. GL!

Love the Steelers this week. I think the line will come down to maybe even money.

I expect a big game from last year's true champions, the zebras! Hoenstly, the NFL should protect their champions and since it will look bad if they carry them every week, perhaps they will at least give them some glory in such games that leave an impression. Since they made a farce out of the SB, turning it into the Sympathy Bowl (Vote what team/player you would prefer to win and we will take care of it) the NFL people should start trying to protect the league's status. No way I am taking Denver here, although they are far and away the better team.

What am I missing here? This game opened at Den -1 and is now Den +3. Pitt seemed like a great bet at +1 but -3 seems like it is on the steep side. And Bill says he will stick with Ben so sure seems like the Denver D will bounce back. I know it is a must win for Pitt but wasn't last week far more of a must win?

13 consecutive Steelers home games have gone over. That's the only thing keeping me off under here, because I agree both teams should be able to stop the run-oriented offenses.
