I'm not sold on the Saints one bit but I would never call this a lock of the year especially considering Carolina's poor play so far.

tough game to call it a lock IMO
I like the Saints in this game myself plus the point, although it's not a game i'd play at all.

Might be a good call. Saints probably not in a good sport after the Monday night win. Panthers got their key offensive threat back.

You have to question the adrenaline rush (and if they can keep it going - history says 'no') the Saints had on Monday night with 1 less day to prepare for the game...
The line is way out of whack in a big way, though.
I'm not so sure Carolina can cover.
It would take a major league let-down by the Saints. My gut says they can't cover (I thought they'd blow it Monday night), but something about a solid-stable QB that stays in games makes it hard to pounce on that #. I normally bet Carolina - but in this spot, the line seems too brutal... Even if I have little confidence in NO.
I'd feel like I was 'gambling':>

its a tough call but i c why. saints can afford to lose this one and still be in the running with 7 at home. but i feel the adrenaline might have taken a little to much out of them for this week

I hate when plays are labeled locks. It just seems to kill the play. Good luck with it, as I was looking toward the Panthers myself.

Tough game.
If the line was -6 I would take the Panthers. But since it is 7/7.5 I have to stay away. I am actually expecting the Panthers to win by 7.. Score should be 24-17...

Like the Panthers here as well. I think they win pretty easily, and I always love taking a team with a losing record that is favored over an undefeated team.

I see the Panther winning this game but not covering. No play for me on this game.

I like Panthers as well, I think after an emotional win on Monday the Saints actually think they are a good football team. I say the Panthers score a few times early in the half and the Saints choke trying to come back and score against a very good defense. I wouldn't be surprise if the Panthers shut out the Saints.........good pick on this game Sonny, way to call it. I will be slamming hard on the Panthers, but GL to all.

I also like Carolina, but I think this game will be closer than people think.

at first glance Carolina looks good. However they are a terrible home favorite. Beware!
