imgv94 NFL Week 4 YTD 27-21 +3.82 Units *PICKS HERE*
RECORD 27-21 +3.82 Units
Still suffering over that Carolina loss last week that would of made us alot of money,it also cost me some constests as well.. Hopefully we avoid such close losses this week. I want you guys to know I really enjoy the comments I receive from you and the input on the games. Please continue to give me your thoughts..
Only two posted plays for now..
3* 3 Team 10 point Teaser
Indy +1
Dal +0.5
Phi -1
2*Cleveland Browns -2.5
Raiders are horrible.. As I have mentioned before the Browns are not that bad. Charlie Frye threw for almost 300 yds against the Ravens defense and is beginning to come into his own. The Raiders have absouletly no offense whatsoever and until they stop playing like a bunch of bitches I see no reason not to fade them. Especially if all you have to give is a FG.. The Browns have a good defense and that should make it difficult for the Raiders to outscore them.. We will see....
I will be adding the Chargers but would like to see where the spread is going before I decide how much.. But the Chargers are definitely a bet..
Thanks alot guys.. Be sure to let me know what ya think?

I'm Not With You on This One . . .
Hi imgv94, I was with you on CLE hosting BALT and I was with you on MNF taking NO as well. But this one, I don't like.
You're right on when you say OAK is a bad team and I generally follow the rule 'never bet a bad team' so I don't think
I'll be taking OAK but I also don't like CLEV. The Browns haven't been a road favourite in I don't know how long. Not
all of last season anyhow and the Black Hole isn't exactly
the place I'd want to be taking on that kind of a role for the first time in a while. CIN (week 2) was interstate, so this is
really CLE's first road game. Plus OAK had the bye. True
that the bye could work against them as it's not easy to sit
around all week in your hometown listening to your fans and
media trash you but the bye could also potentially work
for them. Shell's a proud man and he looked profoundly unhappy after the MNF opener loss to SD. He probably was
equally dismayed over the BALT result in week 2. Now he's had the bye week to do something about it. Basically I don't
like either team here ~ I think I'll lay off this one. I'll be rooting for the Browns on your behalf though . . . GL! (P.S.
Last year for what it's worth, Dec 18th, CLE @ OAK -3,
CLE 9-7 win.

I understand what you are saying, and the points you bring up is the reason why I only have 2 units on Cleveland. GL to you this week..

i am also thinking i'm going to stay away from this game, if i were to bet though it would be on the browns. If the raiders cant win this game though i dont see them winning a single one. Cleveland plays well at home but tend to suck on the road hard to say which team is going to show up

ADDING:
2* Chicago Bears -3 -120 @ matchbook
I follow Seattle very closely and I am in belief that last weeks win was a fluke, The Giants coming off a miracle emotional win having to travel 3k miles obviously contributed to them coming out flat.. Seattle is not the same team on the road as they are @ Home. Seattle has no running game and playing the Bears will not help at all. The Bears should have control of this game and win by 7 or more.. I wish Alexander was playing, if he was this would of been a 4 unit cause the line would of been PK or ML +110 or something. I would of killed that line.. I love having the better defensive team @ Home playing a team that is struggling running the ball.. Love it...

IMGV:
Don't like the chargers here. The Ravens are being undervalued after a tight rivalry game. I think they are a live home dog, and I will have some ML action on them.
Also don't like Chicago pick. I love the Bears and will be rooting for them to win, but I think the line should be a pick for this game. Therefore, I will take Seattle plus points. Maybe 3.5 or 4 by game time.
I can't argue with Cleveland. Oakland's new uniforms will feature skirts and a matching purse for them to carry their lipstick in.
An an aside, what criteria do you use ofr your teasers? I had tracked a bunch of numbers and played two teamers for 6 points. (used to be even money at Canbet, don't know if it still is). I ended up making about a 2% profit after 100+ bets. Just not enough of a winner to justify playing.

agreed josebla89 . . . this game with CLE's road record and
OAK's state of affairs . . . CLE hasn't laid road chalk in I don't
know how long ~ all of last season for certain and now
favourites in
the Black Hole? I just dunno . . . I wish imgv94 well here.
I hope CLE does it ~ I've always had a soft spot for them with their licorice all-sorts helmets. I try to avoid games that
I perceive as iffy to keep my traffic down. I won't be shocked if CLE wins here but I won't be shocked if OAK wins either . . .

Is San Diego game one of those too good to be true? Very tempting to take the pts.

Just a few thoughts on some posts I have read...
IND -9 I believe that Colts win this game by 13 or 14. Not a great showing for us last week against Jacksonville, but a solid win against their defense. I think Manning and company will bounce back strong. Yeah the Jets beat Buffalo, but so what?! Also, I believe the OVER is a good bet for this game. Colts will put up a lot of point and probably give up a decent amount as well. We gave up 24 to the Texans, if that is any indication.
Jacksonville -3 Taking the Jags all the way here. Not convinced by Washington's demolition of the lowly Texans last week. I was @ the Colts/Jags game last weekend and their defense is definitely for real this year. Portis will be limited by their run D that is very strong. Brunell won't complete a million passes in a row like he did last week.
I need to win BIG this weekend! Any thoughts on other games are welcomed!

I agree with you on both accounts, mostly, Peyton2Marvin
I think Indy's performance last week was more because the Jags played brilliant tactical football... Not them stinking.
The line in the Indy game seems fishy, though. The Jets D has a LOT of heart and will battle. Not to mention, the Jets are a great late-in-the-game ninja-cover the spread team (or have the potential). Indy is going to have to run the ball -and I don't see it against the Jets. They are very well coached.
The Jets, fairly, can't be -9 if the Jags were -7... Even though I like the Jets to stay in the game, that line seems too soft.
Also, I'm on the Jags already (great price at -3). The Skins are not good enough to sustain more than a couple of drives in the game IMO. Who knows with the Skins, though. They are pretty streaky at times. Who knows which team shows up? I still think the Jags can play 'good' and win no matter what.
----
In other games I agree with -
I'm buying up the Bears probably too much between -3 and -3 1/2, depending on price.
I'm also waiting to get in on the Chargers. I'm surprised the line hasn't moved in either direction and neither has the price...Well, at least not as much as I had thought:> Ravens are a hot hot team.
