Fantasy Football Thread
Hey guys, I thought it would be a good idea to start a fantasy thread each week so people can ask questions and get advice from more knowledgeable posters...
The help I got here really helped me out last week and I could win my first game of the year...
Of course now Im 1-2 and need to win this week...
Got a little of a RB issue...
I got Frank Gore who's not 100% playing at KC and Ahmad Green who I just picked up but plays at Philly...
Who shoul I start, What do you guys think??

I think Frank Gore is fine. I'm a 49er fan and I watch all their games. He was walking around talking to the coach before they pulled him. I think that he had a minor problem but given Gore's history of injury they chose to be very safe with him and take him out of a game they had already lost anyway.
So Gore is 100% against the chiefs imo.

I would go with Gore at 75% health over Ahman Green against the Eagles. The thing is though, 49ers might be giving the ball to M Robinson more in goal line because Gore keeps fumbling around the goal line. That might hit the fantasy points, but I think its better than Ahman's chances at Philly.

An injury knocked running back Frank Gore out of Sunday's game, but head coach Mike Nolan said on Monday he expected Gore to be available on Sunday for the 49ers road game against the Chiefs.
“It’s my understanding that he will play Sunday,” said Nolan. “Right now, he’ll be listed as questionable, but he checked out okay last night. He might be limited during the week, but it’s my expectation that he will play.”
Originally listed as an abdominal strain, Gore's diagnosis on Monday was changed to bruised ribs.
"I'll be on the field," Gore said. "I'm kind of sore, but
I'll be all right."
Thats from the 49er website. Gore was running with 2 shoulders that needed surgery last year and he still ran like a beast. Bruised ribs slowing him down? Thats like having a small dent on a tank.

I agree completely..but its better than what Big Ben would get. Bye for the steelers this week but I wouldn't start him anyways.
I think I'll go with Bulldog on this one and go with Grossman. Seattle D allowed alot of points last week so I hope the same this week

Hey guys,
Kellen Winslow is my Fantasy TE...
Has anybody heard anything on his status...
He's listed as Questionable...
I dont have a backup, should I be concerned?
About the RB situation I forgot about Green but I got Chester Taylor back... he plays @ Buff
Gore is still listed as questionable but expected to start.
Would you consider starting Taylor instead?
Thanks again for the help...
And GL

Don't know anything about winslow but if you want a backup eric johnson is going to be a good point earner since Vernon Davis suffered a broken leg. My starting Te had a bye last week so i put EJ in and he lit it up... got me more points in 1 game then jason whitten got me all season.

And now I got Kerry Rhodes questionable as well, he's my DB...

Hey guys...
I did pretty good this week..

Im looking for some more FF help...
Since Andre Johnson has a bye week I need to replace him and Isaac Bruce sucks...
Both Reggie Williams and Braylon Edwards are available...
Any thoughts????

I'm ticked that I lost by 2 points this week because I had Westbrook going last night and didn't have his backup.
